  1. I’m sure many of us grew up in working environments that had initiation “rights of passage”. As this is a football forum, the players these days perhaps have to sing to the rest of the players when they join the club. Back when Bone, Abercromby, Fitzpatrick, McGarvey, etc were first team players I’m sure the last thing the new players were doing was X-factor auditions. The armed forces also used to have some rigorous “initiations”. Survive and thrive is the order of the day.
  2. Ok I fully understand your business needs for reliability in a static office environment and within the benefit of being able to charge back through your company. But you seemed to miss the point I’m making about point of entry cost model for a “disruptive” product. Plus unless I’m missing something the cost for a mobile system for a motorhome is damn expensive and costs more than you originally quoted. I’ve been working in secure data transfer since mid 80s (IT for armed forces). I have traveled extensively globally on business and leisure for many years using VPN and other encryption technologies. I just personally feel that there is a significant cost barrier compared to other traditional communication methods. It is a Musk company after-all and therefore seems to carry a premium. Hopefully the price will come down over time. I suppose someone needs to pay for all the failed SpaceX launches. 😂
  3. Those who knew (likely there were many) should be named, shamed and paraded through the cities, towns and villages whose sub-postmasters they continually lied about. Like Hillsborough those who lied, falsified documents and were corrupt will get off Scot free. How many other things are hidden by the “authorities”?
  4. As a disruptor to the market they certainly are highly expensive. I can understand why you might need this in remote locations but if I understand the price plans it’s not cheap! Most places I go to in Europe allow me to get sufficient data throughput via traditional mobile to stream most content I need or I download tv/films in advance.
  5. I can’t believe they even broadcast that. I thought perhaps you were in Turkey (again). Piss poor - not you the BBC. ETA - and overpriced Apple tech. 😂
  6. Was it just me or was Div trying out a new set of teeth? The sound quality for his segment was poor.
  7. I’ve followed this story going back to when Computer Weekly first published the first article on the topic. These two “giant” companies felt untouchable. I had “dealings” with both over my career. Needless to say I’m not shocked by what has come about. What bothers most is that it took a fcuking TV series nearly 25 years after the first problems for this to become a national concern. What the actual fcuk were all the MPs representing these constituents doing when we are talking about hundreds of millions and subsequent prosecutions, jail and suicide. I’m sure we’ve all felt sick when we’ve lost money (lost a wallet, etc) but these people were at the heart of their communities up to their necks in 10s of thousands of unaccounted transactions. It makes me sick that it’s taken so long and once again it’s the same people who suffer.
  8. Fix it or we get tooled up! There are a lot of shysters these days. Should have just bought the SNP bus. Hope you get sorted.
  9. @ThePigeon Perhaps chose a game that doesn’t include the bigot brothers aka the Old Firm (trademarked). It’s invariably a much better atmosphere when we don’t play them. Plus if you are doing such an experience then I’m sure the club may arrange for a quick tour of the stadium the day before if you write to them in advance. Make us your last ground in Scotland as we are clearly the best club! 😉 Did you make a webpage or social media of your visits to the 92 grounds? It sounds like something I’d like to do at some stage.
  10. I understand why Flynn was chosen by Robinson for this game due to his experience but I’d rather have seen us not start Ryan and instead used Small or Dunne in defence and moved Gogic into midfield. Robbo has been very loyal with Ryan but I’m afraid to say it’s time for younger players to step forward. I also felt that Lewis Jamieson should have started in place of Olusanya. Game was over after 6minutes which was a disaster that we have seen many times down the years.
  11. The only surprise was that no one at the club had told Elvis that majority of decisions go in favour of the OF. We have seen some decent recruits in recent times under this leadership. Time will tell whether this guy is any good. Strain and Baccus were unknowns and proved good signings. Some argued very forcefully that Zach was no good yet he turns in many great performances for a young keeper.
  12. yup. I stayed until the end and supported the team. It’s always going to be difficult against opponents with such vast resources.
  13. You left so that’s one more of them gone. 👋
  14. It’s on Sky. For many years they dictate what time Celtic and rangers away games are held. Are you going?
  15. If you called them a wanker twice to their face I don’t think he/she/they, etc would give you a hug and a 💋. You seem far too easily triggered these days. Why don’t you just call them out for what you really think. Being a wanker can be a pleasant experience. In the right hands.
  16. You have a valid point but using such abusive language about another poster is a form of hate.
  17. Eh? They have to be still alive to attend a benefit gig - or else I’d have included Sydney Devine. We would organise a gig for you but no one would come. 😜
  18. If we were to have a benefit gig for Shull/Yards which “music” acts should we invite? I’ll start the ball rolling with Kelly Marie!
  19. I think this is all a ploy to get our Scottish Cup odds to win pushed out. 😂 I have a gut feel that this could be our year. But I get that every season. Our league form in 1987 was poor - but I’d happily swap a bottom 6 league finish for a Scottish cup win. It was 37 years ago - jings!
  20. Remember when Wullie Leggat threatened to hang Bill Lees from the Blackpool tower by his St Mirren scarf? Don’t think we had forum “likes” back in those days. 😂
  21. Only a few years ago he was without a club for a period after Aberdeen released him and he screwed the nut when he got another chance with Ayr. Out of all the forwards Scotland has right now he is arguably the most natural finisher and could force his way into the national team for the opener against Germany. I sense that he needs to believe in himself and hope that Steve Clarke gives him the nod ahead of Dykes and Adam.
