I've been to Liverpool many times and enjoyed the sightseeing, the people etc. Dingwall for me is much more picturesque and great for a chilled out long weekend.

Betty Boothroyd was a breath of fresh air as Speaker of the House of Commons. I've enjoyed reading the tributes to her. A dancer, MP and Speaker, what a life! She was more than able to hold her own and some of her "put downs" towards the "boys" were superb! A charismatic lady who said it how it was, shot from the hip and remained true to her Yorkshire roots. R.I.P., Madam.
