  1. Well, Scotland really stank out Hampden Park this evening. You've got to give credit to Northern Ireland, Michael O'Neill and Diarmuid O'Carroll, they came to Glasgow with a game plan, got their players to play to their strengths and got a good result despite not having a lot of possession. I totally agree with Shull, passing about the back and sideways is boring and gets you nowhere. This International week has been a real eye opener and reality check. Scott McTominay and John McGinn should be ashamed of themselves for going down so easily. Embarrassing stuff. Against the Netherlands, McTominay was also quite temperamental, screaming at a Dutch player to get back up after a coming together - just concentrate and get on with the game and let the Referee deal with any shenanigans from the opposition. Germany couldn't have handpicked a better nation to start off their tournament in the summer. Let's just hope we don't end up with 0 points at the end of the group stages.
  2. I dare you to say that to him in person...
  3. Unlike you, I've got a life to get on with and I don't spend all of my time on here like some. I've enjoyed taking a break from reading your non-stop bullshit! What is wrong with you? A supposedly "fully grown man" bitching about "likes"? I have to agree with others on here who think you're not well. Definitely not the full shilling in some way.
  4. Yeah, he's a great asset to us and clearly enjoying his spell with us up here. If he was ever released by Middlesbrough it would be great to get him on a permanent deal but I don't think he'd be short of offers from Clubs with bigger financial clout.
  5. My Dad actually said at the Rangers match that he agreed with Stephen Robinson and their Manager about the pitch being a difficult surface. I'm not sure what's happened. As you said, we had one of the best pitches in the country and Tommy Docherty won awards for it. Is it because of previous preseason resurfacing and it not having enough time to settle in properly?
  6. Indeed. Something Faraway will never understand and experience.
  7. You were laughing at 88 minutes and yet St. Mirren still had time to score a penalty and a winner!
  8. He had "a knock" which ruled him out of today's match.
  9. I see Faraway can't enjoy a St. Mirren win and is trolling the forum as usual. A very sad and bitter individual.
  10. Yyyyyyyeeeeeeeeessssssssss! What a finish to a fairly non event of a match! Aberdeen didn't deserve to win today. They were cheating throughout the whole game. Kicking the ball away, taking ages with throw-ins and free kicks, pulling shirts and getting away with it all afternoon. I'm guessing Neil Warnock has decided his players aren't good enough to win matches by legal means and playing football so he's resorted to getting his players to cheat and waste time and con the officials. I love it when we beat Aberdeen, absolutely love it! A bunch of deluded diddies believing they are still the force they were under Alex Ferguson. "Famous Aberdeen" my arse! Get it up the lot of them!
  11. I'm in full agreement with this. I think it was 200 Saints fans who made the journey tonight? Well done all.
  12. I don't understand the need to go through the website highlighting previous posts by others to have a go when the team has won. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
  13. I totally agree with fan4ever about the unacceptable behaviour creeping into our support again. A few seasons ago I stopped going to as many away matches. This was for different reasons including cost but also I saw some behaviour I didn't like such as flares and acting the "wee hardman" towards opposition supporters. Then I heard about the balaclava wearing a couple of years ago and saw a couple of pictures on social media. This isn't what St. Mirren means to me and it needs stamped out asap. I honestly thought we'd left all of that nonsense back in the 1980s but it seems to be rearing it's ugly head again and not just at our club but elsewhere too. I feel safer at home games and obviously know how to get away from our ground with some ease but I wouldn't want parents of young children being put off taking them to the match.
  14. Another victory and hard working performance from Saints. We were in command of the game and St. Johnstone weren't as good as I expected them to be. Yes we got some fortune with the first goal but I wish more of our players would just "shoot on site"! Deflections, misreading by opposition players can result in a goal so have a go like Mikael Mandron did. I think if most people are honest, if an opposition player, especially from Celtic or The Rangers, gave one of our players a bit of a nudge/push then most would be shouting for a foul. Especially if it lead to us conceding a goal. We'll play better and lose games but winning stuffy games without playing to our maximum capabilities is the difference between a top six finish and bottom six finish.
