The true reason is he didn’t strengthen the squad wasted money by signing players not good enough that’s the true reason for him being sacked. The small group has a good understanding of real life football then and not fairy tales. You think it’s easy for a club with our budget to come up and stay in this league ? Even though we have spent many years outside it. We needed to make the most of our budget signing players and building a squad that is good enough to stay up sadly Stubbs failed very badly with that and has left us in a complete mess now the new manager has to try work with the scraps that are left in the budget get shit players that are under contract out and replace them mid season where the January window is hard enough for any club never mind ours with no money to buy players.
