  1. Why not back the CIC and vote REA off the board? And dictatorship, not sure I buy that. And surely any private ownership is a dictatorship in effect? While I think you have suggested not a bad idea it's a bit late to do such a thing.
  2. As I said, it's a bit late for 'thoughts'. It's happening soon, either the CIC or a private group.
  3. So when will see formalised plans? When will you set up a method for fans to pay their money? When will you be making your announcement and leading the takeover? When is your expected timelines? Why haven't you come to the fore sooner?
  4. With a week to the deadline it's a pretty useless thought. Instead of asking on here why don't you go talk to the board about your proposal? Nah, didnae think so....
  5. Yeah, went and looked and nothing so have went through and registered again!
  6. I'm the same, haven't had a confirmation email after completing online.
  7. What is showing now is the value of the confirmed direct debits. What was previously shown was all the paper DD's that were submitted last year, however due to time lapse they couldn't be used.
  8. Just all seems to be turning in to a game of who has the best reason to big up or belittle the CIC. I back the CIC for reasons that are my own. I did the research, I went to the talks and I don't really give a f**k what others are going on about. I'll be glad to see the back of all this once and for all in the next couple of weeks.
  9. The problem is that they don't actually have to tell us anything about their bid as they don't require any fans backing or participation. Sure, they may one day have a fan on the board but that means very little. The club will also be legally bound not to disclose any information on the parties. So it's really up to the consortia interested to come forward....and I can't see it happening. If the CIC fails then we can all but pray they hold the same interests in our great club as the previous board has.
  10. Div went for a slash....that's why it probably went a bit quiet! I chucked it at 9pm...only so many times you can hear the same question asked over and over. I'm 100% behind the bid....a massive week coming in our history.
  11. I don't mean this as any disrespect to the SMISA guys, but are we paying too much attention to what is now a small group of fans? Undoubtedly they have achieved some fantastic things in the past but if they really wanted to mount a takeover then they would have when the club went up for sale. The reality, as Div said, is that they are a small group of fans and we probably have travel clubs of a bigger size.
  12. Because you seem to be against it?
  13. I think he has signed for the Johnnies.
  14. Would be quite ironic if the SMISA statement wasn't actually the view of all in SMISA, instead just the view of those at a high level in the organisation.
  15. From the guy building his sausage factory.
  16. Thought you were an intellectual? Missing a k from you Knob. Night night Princess x
  17. Wow, you have really came across like a prat! Was the £500k budget you claim to manage the money that Ken was going to raise via Ticketus? People do business with people. That's the moto the organisation I work for works to and as one of the biggest brands in Scotland and one that has seen rapid growth over the last 10 years I would tend to go with that. Not with your competitive tender guff.
  18. I believe he has been watched a few times by us but the feeling is that he's not all that much better than McShane.
  19. There was no attack. Knowing you, this morning you will claim it was a nice post. Reminds me of my burd....
  20. I don't know what the value is, hence why I asked the question. Without knowing the investment made by the current BOD, the value of any assets at the club then I can't make that decision.
  21. A lot of people keep mentioning the price the CIC will pay the consortium is too high. Out of interest, what do they value the club at? As someone that has never bought a football club I've no idea how to value such a thing. Another point, also been some comments about investment in playing budget. I don't agree with investment in playing budget as it means we are overspending. The only money spent on playing budget should be generated solely by the club. No outside investment should be used....f**k being in Hearts position where their wage/turnover ratio is unbelievable.
  22. Was at the Ayr v Partick game last week and wasn't hugely impressed with Doolan. Erskine and Cairney looked to have more to offer....it's only one game I suppose!
  23. Who is 'we' in your scenario? Do you mean the club will be in debt to the tune of £2m after the takeover?
  24. Fundamental flaw - Broadfoot never played in the same team as Camara. No wonder you thought he was invisible next to him.....
