It has already been quoted in the press that all SPL clubs except Newco have received their cash accordiing to last seasons league placings. So that together with Season Ticket Sales will have enhanced our CashFlow.

I would imagine that when a invitation is put on a (StMirren Forum) to a meeting with the (St Mirren Chairman) they would expect the invites to be taken up by (St Mirren Supporters )and if there is only 15 spaces available (you )are being allowed to take a place that in my opinion should be going a (St Mirren fan ) .

Just a thought but why are you Stuart Dickson wanting to go along to a meeting of StMirren season ticket holders if as you have said yourself you are not a StMirren Fan. I know you like to post on this forum but why StMirren why dont you get invloved with the business of other teams in SPL or SFL surley we are not the only team forum to be voicing our oppinions about the state of Scottish Football. I say this as a ST MIRREN FC Shareholder, a ST MIRREN FC Season Ticket holder and a 10000hours contributer . Are you just trying to cause trouble for our club I would like to know .

I very much agree with all gazmc83 comments. We are all agreed that Rangers have to be punished absolutely no doubts about it whatsoever but come on we are all saints supporters surely we are not going to give up on our beloved club. This mess is Rangers fault not St Mirrens. My wife son and I have all renewed our season tickets at considerable cost and have no intentions whatsoever of asking for refunds.Moreover we have all signed up for 10000hours and will not cancel our direct debits. This is about supporting our club as I have done for the past 60 years. Saints need more fans not less. It is a disgrace that in a town the size of Paisley and its surrounding areas that we cannot get at least 5000/6000 home fans at our matches. If there is a problem with TV income this coming season then surely it is plain for everyone to see that we will have a major problem meeting our contractural obligations. I will be at the Shareholders Meeting on Monday and will be interested in what SG has to say. In the meantime lets all be positive and remember that in our first two league matches we have two senior players suspended and Danny will be forced to make up the squad with youngsters unless we have more signings. So come on everyone this Newco thing will take care of itself hopefully and we can all look forward to next season. It goes without saying that all non OF firms have a dislike for what they stand for and hopefully soon this will be no more at some stage in the future. In the meantime "Come on the Saints".

Shull: I take on board your comments but I seem to remember that Tony was the Manager (first time around)when we we paid a king's ransom for Wishart (300K)Manley£200K) Stickroth(£400K) Kinnaird(£100K) plus large salaries for Archibald Victor etc. Let's get all our facts right here. As for Charlie Palmer well he only ever loved Celtic however I don't deny he served us well on the Board.

I mentioned previously that Shimmin could only play today as a signed player. Under League Rules clubs can only play a Trialist on only three occasions. Saints would have been fined for playing him today as a Trialist. In any case Gus should have been able to formulate a decision one way or another by this time.

Given the injuries we have for this Saturday and the fact that we have no new signings as yet I would go for the following team:- Howard Van Zanten Potter Haining Reid Brittain Murray Mason O'Donnell Kean Corcorran I don't feel that Mehmet and Brady have the right sharpness as yet to start but could always come as a subs if needed. Any thoughts?
