  1. Agreed...hopefully the club and DL particularly have explained that sectarian behaviour will not be tolerated at the club. So long as he understands that he should be supported the same as any other player. Can't see him getting a harder time than Cheesey and he's one of us.
  2. Not necessarily.....however surely the yank who may or may not have St Mirren connections has more of a claim to supporting St Mirren by investing £1.5Million of his own spondullets into the club......than some slightly less far flung fluds with zero connection to the club using fans money to fund their "interest" in the club and its assets. You are also starting to go down the "back 10000 hrs or else" route again. I can understand that as there isn't a supporting argument for 10000 hrs proposals any more.
  3. Clearer now.....there are two separate issues. It has been shite journos that have been reporting them as being interdependent. Issue 1: SKY wanting to be able to televise some of the newcos SFL games under the SPL contract. The newco have hee-haw influence on this issue - its between the SPL and the SFL. Issue 2: The newco doesn't want to progress the transfer of the oldco license whilst the EBT issue is outstanding. As we know the SPL investigation by HMcL decided there is a case to answer. The SPL want an independent commission to judge the case. Once you take the newco loving media spin out of it, it actually looks pretty gloomy for the newco.
  4. At that point there was £750K of grant money + other social investment funds. There was community member involvement and there was also £10K-a-year allegedly coming from corporate entities. Not of that came to fruition. At that stage it was worth supporting. We now have a scheme funded entirely by St Mirren fans contributions. The scheme is underfunded. Imn my opinion it will put our club at risk. There has been no information made available to any fans or fans group I am aware of to allays those concerns. Basically, the "Ayrshire cocks" have been shooting blanks. Time for them to vacate the premises.
  5. Yes, you are confused. I relayed information provided to me by a 10000 hrs chap that scumgers playing in Europe means cash for St Mirren. You appear to have jumped to your own conclusions about the 10000 hrs chap. I prefer watching the engerlish teams in europe....I am guessing that the dafty nats would label me a traitor for that. You should be pilloried for watching gretna though.
  6. I personally wouldn't stay in Ayrshire as it is a shitehole, but that's a personal opinion. However you asked me "REA and how else"....I did my best to decipher your buckfast induced grammar and decided that you were asking me who else in 10000 hrs team is from Ayrshire and I provided you with that information. You appear to be trying to be offended by someone pointing out that the majority of the 10000 hrs team are from Ayrshire. Personally I think far flung fuds should support their local team and move on from St Mirren. Again that is a personal opinion and not an official statement from the 10000 hrs get ti f"k online marketing team.
  7. Nah, it was another chap.....not Scott McLelland....yet another chap from Ayrshire - I think he was from Maxi Group itself. It was back when we had the three meetings on the trot.
  8. The majority of the already decided interim BoD...Chris Stewart & Brian Caldwell. If you go back further when 10000 hrs was to be an overarching BoD separate from fans there were other Ayrshire punters involved - one is still a director of the company set up to handle the trasaction.
  9. When I asked one of the 10000 hrs chaps why he was watching the scumgers playing in europe in the hospitality suite after a CIC public meeting, he responded that if scumgers won St Mirren would get £80K. He was suggesting some sharing of cash out to other clubs as a result of a European win by a Scottish team. Might have been bollox right enuff.
  10. What a bizarre response to a post that was asking a question. How can you misrepresent "stuff" when you are asking a question looking to see if anyonecan shed any light on what seems like an odd situation?
  11. Why, do you keep soiling your pants and have to run to M&S for replacements.
  12. So gullible.....10000hrs is a group from Ayrshire trying to take control of SMFC using fans money. Fans involvement to date has been signing up to a £1.5Million debt via direct debit mandates....unless you want to include the fans poll that I embarrassed them into delivering, which they subsequently used as a tool to try and get support for the newco. The fans are not in 10000hrs they are just funding it.
  13. Sort of see a skewed logic in that. Disnae quite work though.
  14. Perhaps not deserve abuse; however he certainly isn't entitled to a free pass from abuse, especially if he wants to be considered the same as any other fan. The only Siants fan I know above getting abuse is a dug.
  15. Beeb reporting potential bad news for the rangers tax case followers: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18972417 No doubt there will be much denial of involvement from the SPL chairmen.
  16. May I nominate substance abuse. Slip him a tab and the ppt presentations might get a bit funkier.
  17. Pretty sure that Chris Stewart is a lawyer...is REA paying Chris Stewart, the club secretary and prosepctive interim board member or are we talking about admin fees such as setting up a company - because you can do that online for about a tenner.
  18. Well over Greens target of 24 hours and with Radio Scotland reporting the license is unlikely to be provided its not looking good for the newco. On the EBT sanction issue, was it not the case that the SFA stated they would leave it to the SPL, but would be the involved in any appeal if required. If the SPL can no longer put sanctions of the newco does that mean that the SFA will need to get its hands dirty. I'm not really getting the SPL demanding cash in return for dropping the EBT sanctions.
  19. It's all at the start of this thread c'lum.
  20. My first thought was that the marketing / merchandising would improve beyond recognition. Yanks would start to market the club properly and they'd be right into their branded rubber ducks - surprised big fras husnae been on yet.
  21. The £500K over three years makes it look like another selling consortium / 10000 hrs creation to me....either way its a win-win. Bye bye 10000 hrs...it was fun once, but now you've outstayed your welcome. Time to let us all move on.
  22. It's a dodgy relaunch of the 10000 hrs bid: http://www.paisleydailyexpress.co.uk/renfrewshire-sport/renfrewshire-football/renfrewshire-football-st-mirren/2012/07/25/atkinson-hopes-to-relaunch-takeover-bid-87085-31467020/
  23. This is the level of bile we are going to see somner9....and this is on the back of just a one liner on the BBC gossip section, which nobody other than the 10000 hrs online marketing team appear to be taking seriously.
  24. It goes with the territory DoP. Just look at the pelters that SG has taken over the years and continues to take. If you are going to put yourself at the top tier of a football club, your going to have to accept that fans are going to take a tilt at you - and very often for things that have got hee-haw to do with you. I'm only a prospective club president and look at the abuse I am getting off ktf. Fans will be fans. We leaders of men must rise above it.
