  1. You have clearly not looked at the table for a while. I suspect if we win 2 more games that will be enough to finish at least 6th never mind 10th or whatever you were spouting last night. That would basically leave the Fakes or Utd having to win 3 of their remaining 5 games and Well 4 of their 6. Most teams only have 5 games to go ffs.
  2. Not what I said in the slightest. Shite or not they have still beat half the teams in the division by 3 or more goals was my observation. We have lost a game and suddenly Pampers sales have soared yet we are 6th with 2 winnable games in hand on the 2 teams below us with only 7 or 8 games to go to the split. Virtually everyone on here would have bitten your hand off for this position at the start of the season and both arms and both legs at the end of October.
  3. Poor season or not we are the 6th or 7th different team in the league they have beaten by 3 clear goals or more. Folk are going on as if we were the first team they have hammered all season, they have fone it to half the league !
  4. Why that makes no sense at all. No season is ever defined by a defeat to one of the uglies for clubs like us
  5. Spot on. Still ours for the taking especially with the teams immediately above and below us meeting on Saturday and the Fakes playing Septic. After that 5 winnable home games. Definitely firmly in the box seat although injuries and the ludicrous schedule are a concern.
  6. It's not really surprising that a players "union" would fight a wage cap on it's members though.
  7. As comfortable a victory as you will see. Absolutely bossed every department. It was almost a metaphor for home far we have progressed this season. Excellent stuff all round.
  8. A bit late, been dead since 1977 didn't even make Oaky's nostalgic post !
  9. It was one of my last ever visits to either of the cheeks parks. I had a minging hangover and I remember it vividly Oh and the first goal was scored by Gunni the second by Geordie Shaw if anyone needs reminding.
  10. Ah, a relaxing post match glow. Beer seems apt too. Absolutely superb result despite my lineup concerns. What a week that is with two magnificent results. Happy, happy days a season with both cheeks skelpt.
  11. I suspect FTOF is correct and it's looked upon as the least important of the packed coming schedule so taking a chance on giving it a freshen up
  12. His legs will have felt it after so long out, That didn't really surprise me but a lot else has
  13. It looks like 3-5-1-1 with a central midfield of Erharon Macpherson and McAllister plus 2 wingers and 3 at the back. Presumably McGrath behind Dennis
  14. WTF is Goodwin doing. Can anyone see what formation that is ? Tait on the bench ??? Presumably Flynn is knackered after Wednesday
  15. KO was delayed at least twice due to crowd congestion. Great day
  16. That's some response. Goody had to change it and change it he did. Great performances from Durmus and Flynn especially and a great wee shift from Connolly when he came on but to me the MOTM was Ethan Erharon. A magnificent performance probably helped by Flynn having a stormer in there too. McGrath is some pen taker too. All in all a fantastic nights work.
  17. Isn't that the Flynn role only he's hopefully better than what Foley has shown the last few times he's played there. Honestly would not bat an eyelid if Foley was moved on nor Erwin, Sheron, McAllister or Mason for that matter. Would still give Dennis the benefit of the doubt. Would free up a bit of squad room.
  18. Can't say he hasn't changed it. Two up with Flynn partnering Erharon and Durmus starting. Looks a better formation
