Our club is named after a Christian saint. You must have a small brain haemorrhage every time you mention his name.
Maybe you should go to the church under the stand when it starts up. It might make you a decent person.

I think you really need to do some research on the meaning of said expressions. And, when I say research I don't mean searching P&B. I really don't understand why you can't support St Mirren if you are a "tim", I'll need to tell a number of my friends that they are no longer welcome at St Mirren Park.

Nothing like a bit of intolerance. I guess you're one of those people who has no desire to increase the fan base, let alone retain the christian fans the club already has. Attitudes like yours will leave the club in the dark days.

I understand your sentiment and quite agree, but that's not totally accurate. We are ALL religions / beliefs / outlooks / genders / sexualities........... There should be no prejudice within SMFC. A true community club is what we should be aiming for.

I think the point TBL was making is that when the odd St Mirren fan shouts "h*n/fe***n/t*m/orange bas...." aimed at old firm supporters (unfortunately it does happen) they could just as easily be offending the person sitting in the seat next to them. It shows a lack of respect for others and does nothing for the reputation of our club.

Do not know about this one but not all Churches meet on a Sunday morning.
And for those that mentioned religion and football don't mix there may be an element of truth in that. Most bigots I know do not go to Church so no problem!
We should welcome all groups that want to use the stadium and respect people's beliefs.
