  1. I think the advantage you will have, is that, Dunfermline have probably already used up the "straight out the catalogue" black n white joma kits. So you wont get them.
  2. We're getting the "silver" template on P22 but with thick red n yellow stripes. 5 or 7 stripes, I think. So they can mess about with the trmplate. They dont just need to pick straight out the catalogue.
  3. That was a bug bear with the top on our first season back up. And I think next seasons will have a single colour back too. TTL also want to piss about and give us red shorts again.
  4. Joma's stuff is really good quality, in my opinion. Our away strip this season is a belter. Im not that keen on the ajax design home kit, but the quality is first class. If you google search Joma Teamwear Catalogue 2017 you'll see their templates for next season.
  5. Thistle have played both Livi and Caley 7 times in a season.
  6. Does David Nicol use BAWA to communicate with fans? Has he previously used it to garner support for himself to be elected to a position? Is there an electronic means of communication available to reach David other than on here? Is BAWA for Smisa members only or can any fan use it? Is this an issue for Suggestion and the club to deal with, themselves? Why should an anonymous "user name" on here have any contribution or influence on the discussion David may be having? Are you a troll?
  7. Cheers Bud. That was full on and a step up from the usual 7s/8s i play on a monday night. Which is on a bigger pitch. Had more of a 5s feel to it, tonight. Blew a couple of sitters, but i'll soon find my range. Already confirmed for next week. One things for sure, i won't be wearing a long sleeve top again. Just checked, its the same size of pitch!
  8. Played at Centre Half... " Our number 6 did shout a lot and try to get our defence moving up the field." "Trialist no 6 looked pretty good, won most challenges but isn't a massive lad." "I thought the Trialist No 6 looked good. Gotta give the lad some latitude playing with virtual strangers. Natural left sided and looked comfortable on the ball." " Agree about no.6 looked comfortable all game"
  9. Sean Kelly on Trial at Firhill. Played last night against Raith Rovers and by all accounts was a stand out.
  10. Get your Mrs' hairdryer on a good medium setting, a pair of tweezers(?) and pick off the sponsor's logo.
  11. So, my dad's been going on about all the great music shows on STV Glasgow, for ages. I set them all to series record and I've been catching up, tonight. On a show called Grass Roots Music was a traditional guitarist, called Tony McManus, from Paisley. Absolutely incredible! What a player! Apparently it was his brother Jim who worked in Listen, who introduced him to a lot of music. What's his story? Must a couple of folk on here know him.
  12. Looks great but an absolute pain in the tits to empty back n the bottle, going by YouTube reviews
  13. Those singles were pretty much all bought at the time of release that I've picked up over the years, bud. Here's today's purchases.... I took a trip up to Byers Road, into oxfam. Which was pretty rubbish. Unless you like Barbara Dickson or Cliff Richard. Picked up the WS and Carter stuff for Jane and got myself America Horse With No Name. Then up to Fopp and picked up the pixies at 11 quid. Double heavy weight with free cd and The Clash on double heavyweight. Still looking for The Barr Brothers also Otis Redding & Carla Thomas King and Queen. What in incredible album! That website you suggested is brilliant. Eli records.
  14. Sorry guys, parenthood is taking its toll. Not had a chance to get back on the thread. Will be back in tomorrow.
  15. Cheers IBS, I'll check them all out. What's a record cleaning machine?
  16. Used to top the recommended weekly amount on a daily basis. It's very easy to stop in at the off licence when you get off the bus and get 8 cans for 6 quid every night, especially when you love the taste! It's even easier to have a bottle of wine and open up another. Thankfully I knocked it on the head about 4 years ago. Becoming a parent can do that to a person! Since then I've not drank stronger than a lager shandy and that's only if I'm out at the football or a gig. So probably 4 pints of lager shandy, once a fortnight, maximum. Feel bloody great, for it! I'd never preach to anyone who likes a swally, but when sober, there is literally nothing worse, than having a conversation with someone who's drunk... Or having the same conversation 4 times in an hour!!!
  17. Yeah, I picked up Bad Company's Burning Sky album for £7 the other day. Probably my favourite album of theirs. Though I do find it a bit weird, they don't sell record cleaning kits!
  18. Give me a shout, if you ever do, Bud.
  19. I've recently bought a new turntable and was curious as to where everyone is buying their vinyl these days. HMV Braehead and Apollo are quite expensive for new records, though Apollo are not too bad for second hand. Is there any specific charity shops that stand out as regularly having a good haul? When is Record Factory (I think it's called) up the west end ever open? So far in the last couple of weeks I've bought: Michael Head & The Strands: Magical World of. Bad Company: Burning Sky. The War On Drugs: Lost In The Dream Pixies: Doolittle Neil Young: Harvest A couple of Rolling Stone RSD releases.
