  1. Maybe should have did a Black and White Stripes double instead of this poor effort. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  2. First thing I thought of when I saw the news might tune in to that live on sky sports Saturday 6pm I think. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  3. I thought we would have been higher to be honest. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  4. Our home record would suggest we can beat anybody this season. The back 4 they put out last time played into our hands whereas now Carter Vickers and Starfelt won't get bullied as easily and Ayunga not available their team looks stronger our looks weaker due to injuries. Despite all that I'm still going into this with glass half full opinion think a similar (but slightly better in possession) performance from first 75 minutes of cup game we can take something from this game. 5. Hope he gets them relegated in a play off v Dundee. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  6. Apparently they are going for Craig Levein please let it be true[emoji23] Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  7. It's to stop them buying for home end and prices are matching what they charge us at their dump. Unfortunately I think the rules state we can't charge home fans less than away fans. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  8. I'm actually confident we can get a result. The 2 games at Parkhead we played reasonably well and were unlucky to lose by 9-1. We are an absolutely different team at home as proved against them last time how good our chances are will be determined by today's result think a wounded Celtic losing a cup final with a point to prove will be tough to beat on the other hand they might not be at 100% after a week of celebration. 9. Brophy's two goals yesterday were typical Brophy goals long early ball up pitch one goalkeeping defensive howler and the other the Brophy we know first time(as always) shot smashed into top corner. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  10. Just catching up with my mate who was at the match yesterday. My message to him was think you had a typical Perth trip, freezing crap performance and we didn't win think that sums up almost every trip I've ever had to Perth. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  11. Just watched highlights on Sportscene and actually shocked that they all plus Davidson say never a red card and Neil McCann even says not even a yellow. Am I looking through black and white glasses when I say it's a red card all day long. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  12. I'm not saying he would have solved our goalscoring problems but when he joined Ross County I stuck up for him when alot on St Mirren forums/social media were giving him a hard time. His only start this season was away at Kilmarnock and due to Erahon red card got subbed before 15 minutes. Trying to remember the stats he was on the bench around 16/17 times used only 11/12 and pretty sure when he came off bench quite regularly it was from 80 minutes onwards. Just think he didn't get enough minutes on pitch this season. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  13. Like I wrote in my top 6 post think St Johnstone can't make top 6 as they have two teams to overtake not only one and while not impossible it's improbable (as if Livingston and Aberdeen won 2 matches before split St Johnstone would most likely have to win 4 in 6 to overtake them). Just in case you are right though I looked at their fixtures up until the split 3 of their 6 games are against Hibs, Aberdeen and Livingston so they will have a say on top 6 either way. 14. Their games in hand are Livi v Utd and Hibs v Rangers both on same night 8th March. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  15. Update as of 25/02. March Fixtures - Livingston v Hibs Dundee Utd v Aberdeen St Mirren v Celtic Livingston v Dundee Utd Hibs v Rangers Celtic v Hibs Aberdeen v Hearts Dundee Utd v St Mirren Livingston v Ross County Like I said in my original post still think Livingston are in best place but like someone said previously games in hand aren't guaranteed points on board. Think Dundee Utd will sack fox and with their next 3 games against Top 6 seeking teams someone will have to face the new/no manager bounce[emoji23]. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  16. Who, St Mirren or St Johnstone??? I seem to remember leaving St Mirren v St Johnstone earlier this season around 70 minute mark to go to Nightshift and the Ten men team scored a 95th minute equaliser just as I arrived at work. Oh to that those lost two points back. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  17. Fairly Average???. Terrible record up there last 9 matches only 1 goal. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  18. Only 4 games on this weekend due to the VAR cousins having a wee jolly on Southside of Glasgow. Fixtures are interesting this week 12th v 11th 10th v 9th 8th v 5th 7th v 6th. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  19. Like I said on my post about top 6 spots think St Johnstone already have too big a gap to get top 6 as they have to overtake two teams not just one. This imo isn't a must win just a must not lose if we can get a draw or win it sets us up nicely for match v Celtic which we know we can win. A full home end would be amazing for this match get the players right up for it. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  20. Ironic that arguably our easiest victory of the season (or maybe less stressful was Celtic). Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  21. Think it was hard to see in real time from the stands I'm in W7 near the front and just thought he had went for ball with a reasonable chance of getting it. Didn't see how bad it was until Sportscene. Usually red cards outside box for similar challenges are easier to spot for referees as normally no one else around like I said previously I'm willing to give him benefit of the doubt on this one. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  22. My mate knows this ref had him at boys club level said he was always pretty fair. I also thought he had a good game today definitely did let game flow didn't try and be centre of attention like some(see Beaton's red card today). Obviously red card was a missed call but in real time I'll give him benefit of the doubt but that situation showed VAR in a good light used exactly as it was meant to rectify a missed call by the ref. 23. A horrendous record up there, 1 goal and 1 win in last 9 matches. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  24. Bumped into this injured trio outside stadium. Grieve says a couple of weeks he'll be back. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  25. I thought about adding St Johnstone in to the mix and the reason I never is a tried and trusted method I have used in previous seasons when debating who would finish in the bottom 2. St Johnstone have won 8 games St Mirren have won 9 games Aberdeen have won 10 games For St Johnstone to gain top 6 in last 8 matches they would have to win 2 more matches than both us and Aberdeen while a possibility history tells you teams that only win 8 in 25 aren't suddenly going to win say 4/5/6 from last 8 matches which is the amount of wins they would most likely need.
