  1. After 25 minutes I thought that looked like a potential score last night. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  2. Honestly think it will come down to ourselves and Aberdeen for the last place on the last day and after Goodwin & the most recent match up there whatever one loses out should expect alot of backlash on social media. If Aberdeen pipped us think I would stay off it for a while I've slated their fans, team and manager all season. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  3. Watching it live Mains challenge did look like a foul the replays however suggest a different story. Although Main wasn't getting the ball so didn't need to challenge just another in a night of wrong decisions at both ends of pitch by our players. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  4. We will finish 6th, 7th or 8th. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  5. Now that our game in hand is out way and 10 from 12 have now played 25 thought I would post the fixtures for the 4 teams looking for the last 3 top 6 spaces. St Mirren - Home - Ross County,Celtic,Livingston,Kilmarnock Away - St Johnstone,D Utd,Rangers & Hearts Aberdeen - Home - Livingston,Hearts,Kilmarnock & Rangers Away - Celtic,D Utd,St J & Ross County Hibs - Home - Kilmarnock,Rangers, Motherwell & Hearts Away - Livingston,Celtic, D Utd & St Johnstone Livingston - Home - Rangers,Hibs,D Utd,St Johnstone & Ross County Away - Aberdeen, St Mirren, Motherwell & D Utd. Going by the fact they have a game in hand, are already top of the 4 team table and also have no games v Celtic or Hearts in this run I would say Livingston can only really throw away a top 6 place. That leaves St Mirren,Hibs and Aberdeen for 2 places. Looking at our away fixtures and our form away I can see a maximum of 4 points and that's being extra kind our home matches however we really need 8+ points to have any chance of top 6. It's impossible to predict Hibs and Aberdeen results both have Rangers, Celtic and Hearts same as us so realistically they only really have 5 games for maximum points. Last matches pre-split St Mirren v Kilmarnock St Johnstone v Hibs Aberdeen v Rangers Dundee Utd v Livingston. Aberdeen v Rangers will be live on Sky Sports and I'm hoping it is Saturday lunchtime so we know by 3 o'clock what we need v Kilmarnock to get top 6. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah it's getting that way I said a few weeks ago 4 teams are vying for 3 top 6 spots. Next week we are away at St Johnstone and to most teams that would be winnable but 1 victory there in 10 years doesn't fill you with confidence. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  7. At least when they played hoofball tonight it was with a plan the amount of hoofball to Obika who in turn laid it off to Blair Spittal and yet despite them doing this from minute 1 we couldn't get to grips with it. Our final ball frustrates the life out of me 30 seconds into second half Main got chance to hit ball across box for two incoming players volleys wildly out the pitch and Strain so many times tonight in great position to get ball in and hesitated nearly every time. 8. At match I thought Carson should have stayed on line for first don't think van Veen scores if he stays where he is. Maybe someone watching on TV will correct me. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  9. Bet builders in England always give red card option and sometimes penalty option for some reason the bet builder available on Scottish matches neither are available. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  10. 3-1 O'Hara,Watt and Main. Obika for them. Beaton the ref so expect a red card for us and penalty to them which Carson will save from Van Veen. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  11. Yes that's their goal. Carson, Dunne,Gallagher, O'Hara, Watt, Main and Obika all possibly starting against their old team. I would play Watt scored against Motherwell for Dundee Utd last season not long after his signing no pint signing him if not going to play him obviously doesn't look match fit but tell him to give us 60 mins then get Offord or Jamieson on. 12. Saves them a few bob downsizing the actual crowd still got the biscuit tin mentality they had in the 80's. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  13. Grieve came on to pitch with leg all strapped up so very likely a Tony Watt/Curtis Main strike force on Wednesday. We know what normally happens when strikers play against their former club Watt, Main and O'Hara 3-1 Saints. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  14. Pre-covid our away form was similarly dodgy but I seem to remember Motherwell was the only place we won twice in the period from promotion to COVID, so pretty sure our away record against them is probably only 2nd to our record at Dundee Utd. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  15. I know I mentioned this earlier in the thread that Hammell could be out a job by this match but FFS are the bookies mental Raith are around 3/1 to beat them and we are around 2/1 against a team with no league wins in 3 months. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  16. We decided our group to go "just in case too" but only if price was right. 8 of us heading through on Saturday, thought if we beat Hibs that would have pushed our crowd up by a few hundred more after 3 wins in a week but think we'll only take around the 900 initial allocation my original thought was we would take around 1500 but I misjudged the apathy for attending this match. 17. Think the lack if fresh legs had the biggest impact on the "top 6' failure season we ended up having about 5 home games in a short period of time and we never utilised the full squad in those games resulting in not getting 1 more win that would have got top 6 comfortably. 18. When did Erahon learn to tackle??? Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  19. I had that sort of feeling about today don't know why just something made me think the good home run was coming to an end today. Most of us would be happy with top 6 anything above that is a bonus imo It looks like a 4 way battle for 3 Top 6 places between us, Livingston,Hibs & Aberdeen and hope to f**k Aberdeen don't pip us for that spot after what happened on Wednesday night. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  20. Every possibility Hammell won't be in charge by this game 1 win in 15 and a tricky tie away at Raith on Saturday. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  21. That's what worries me every time we seem to start expecting to win games St Mirren then do St Mirren things and let us down. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  22. I seem to always bring this up but our record against them is terrible although improved last 18 months or so. This match won't be easy they are on a decent run but no Nisbet should help I just hope whatever the result good or bad it's decided on the pitch not by Gollum trying to prove a point after his decision last week getting overturned. He'll be fizzing and be looking to be centre of attention. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah Gollum on VAR FFS nightmare. Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
