  1. Very pessimist assumption of our boss Stuart.
  2. I would say wanting the situation to end soon isn’t a matter of right and wrong. Of course we all would want it to. The right or wrong relates to ending the situation and as I’ve pointed out we have absolutely no control over it. So him banging on about ultimatums is simply wrong.
  3. He doesn’t, This is the price of success. No other manager in Scotland has two manager of year awards apart from Rodgers who was linked to Arsenal and West Ham. The only way round this is to have a manager no one wants. also Lennon is linked to Sunderland as well and Derby, Mciness was linked to Rangers and Sunderland. This isn’t just the radical Jack Ross only show. He just hates our manager and club. Does anyone genuinely think there is another manager on the planet that if in the same situation wouldn’t be doing something very similar to Ross?
  4. So are you basically saying you don’t have an answer to what we do if the club follow your advice, give the gaffer an ultimatum and he simply says ‘no, i’ll Make my mind up when I want’? cool thought so. Back to the real world where we have to sit and wait on what happens.
  5. You really don’t get it. No other manager in Scotland is the managers choice manager of the year. Hopkins is being linked to at least three clubs and doing the same as Jack. Your point is redundant. I’ve asked you this before and you still fail to answer. If the club gives that ultimatum to Jack Ross and Ross simply says ‘nope I won’t decide by the weekend i’ll take my own time’ then what? The club is powerless.

    We know you do haha
  7. I thought this was done haha. Ifs and buts though. For me it’s a matter of trust. Trust that the people in charge of SMISA will not put us in that position, trust St Mirren would not make requests to put us in that position and trust the voting members wouldn’t vote to put us in that position. When you look at it rationally from a risk based approach the risk is absolutely tiny. It would rely on 1. A proposal that put us in that position 2. SMISA missing while costing the proposal that it would put us in that position 3. Finally paying members voting even though we risk going in that position. Not very likely those three things will happen. Especially given none of the three parties stand to financially benefit and it would be bad for the club we all support.
  8. Oh I forgot you don’t like posts over 200 characters regardless of how much they disprove your point... haha
  9. Yes I agree. My point is people saying ‘St Mirren come first’ and ‘he needs to make up his mind quickly’ no one is saying what we should do if Jack Ross simply says ‘no, i’ll Take as much time as I need to make my decision’ or ‘no I won’t sign a new contract because I want to keep my options open’ both are well with his right and some fans on here should be ashamed at themselves for even suggesting we have the right to push a man to make a life changing decision. Jack Ross decision should only be when he is ready to make it after talking with his family and considering all prospects. The other hilarious things about the ‘St Mirren come first’ and ‘hurry Jack Ross’ comments are he doesn’t appear to have a decision to make yet because no one as far as media and clubs can tell has offered him a job. People are so fast to make these comments, yet to see a single post of what we should do if Jack simply says no. We can only be patient, he holds all the cards.
  10. Walk away from his contract into potential unemployment when he is in a secure well paid role. You realise how rediculous that is? One - Why would Jack agree to that? Two - If he get's offered the job he could say 'okay I'll walk' We lose out on compensation. Three - It also shows your clear lack of the law (like that was ever in any doubt) us telling him to commit or walk would be illegal. If he went to an employment tribunial, unfair/ wrongful dismissal would be proved in a heartbeat. 'Did you feel forced out of your last job Mr Ross?' 'Well they told me to commit or walk.' Case closed.
  11. That's a matter of opinion, can choose to take it that way or make negative comments because you disagree. Jack Ross has earned the right to make that call, based on his clear managerial ability. I don't remember seeing a single positive comment from LPM. As for backing up his criticism, you mean like how he backed up St Mirren and SMISA breaking the law recently? Or backed up that JR is clearly a 'fluffer' to who Ipswich really wants? Or that Jim Goodwin is a more successful manager than Jack Ross? Or that SMISA memberships have fallen sharply directly because of the £50k vote? The vast majority of his comments are not backed by fact, they are from a completely pessimistic, negative perception of SMFC, our manager and background staff.
  12. By delivering success you mean? I can't believe there's actual St Mirren fans being negative about this. Getting a payrise for doing well and having us in a bigger, wealthier league. Hang the witch! What manager on the planet would do such a thing... Well apart from every single one of them
  13. Does LPM not join that list for calling our manager a Fluffer? I agree that being critical of the club when deserved is absolutely fine. In the case of LPM it's almost as if the club, Jack Ross and others associated with the club only deserve the criticism. He's never said anything positive.
  14. Aye that's what we've done. Should we just aim our abuse at the club and Jack Ross as you seem to do oh so often?
  15. If that's the definition of troll... Not like you to pick and choose what bits of information you take in to fit your agenda. Mind you said SMISA memberships had fallen dozens since the £50k vote?
  16. I'm the troll... From the guy that constantly puts down our club and manager? I'm the troll for defending our double award, league winning manager from a guy that's called Jack Ross every name under the sun as well as calling into question his integrity and achievements... I'm the troll? If defending our club and manager from Mr Moan himself makes me a troll, then troll I am.
  17. He could commit by saying he doesn't want to leave yes. But if he is interested in one of these roles or taking time to think about it then he doesn't have to say a word. As has been said many times, the increased money means it's a massive choice for him. The teams linked to him are also much bigger than St Mirren. he doesn't owe us any loyalty, in fact it's the opposite. We owe him a debt for what he's done and we should be respectful of the time this is taken. The chances are it's not down to him holding it up, it's Ipswich and that's something outside our control. As for the one leg out the door, yet again, exact same as any manager in his position. It's the price a club at our level have to pay for having a good manager.
  18. There is no different way any other manager for a Scottish Championship/newly promote club would deal with this. It's not a circus, he's not in any more of a hurry for a bigger job. It simply is what it is. Only facts we know based on the clubs. 1. Ipswich wanted to interview him 2. He was given permission to interview 3. Ipswich haven't hired a new manager yet. From their chairman this is because they want to make the best possible decison which allows for an interview candadate that isn't free to be interviewed yet. Anything outside this 'that he's whoring himself out' 'desperate to get away' 'Contacted Sunderland and put in an application' 'Showing a lack of respect to St Mirren' is all speculation. People are jumping to conclusions without knowing the full story. It says more about some peoples negative perception of Jack and SMFC more than it does any fact. I personally do think he'll go to a club before the summer is out but we don't have the right to hurry his decison and we certainly don't have the power to force Ipswich or anyone elses hand.
  19. There’s not a manager we could bring in that would be doing anything different than Jack Ross and his agent are doing l, given the same situation. So to say he’s whoring himself out is very harsh to a manager that’s just gotten us promoted. He cant commit because he hasn’t been offered anything and no manager on the planet will openly admit he doesn’t want to be at a club. Managers move on all the time, have you ever seen an interview where one has said ‘aye, first good offer and I’m away’ yet this fact is true for 99% of managers in this world. Some of these comments towards our manager are brutal.
  20. First season at Alloa can't be counted as anything, they were more or less down. Sir Alex himself wouldn't of saved them. Second season, he pulled a club back from the brink with a very poor squad to Championship survival, with some great signings. Not sure if you were at the Hibs game when we secured our Championship status but everyone was celebrating the great escape, if you don't think that's a successful season for him (as in his target when he came in was to keep us in the league) then you're just wrong. As for this season, does it stick in your throat he did well? You must of been so angry at us winning promotion
  21. Another load of garbage from our resident St Mirren/ Jack Ross/ SMISA hater. Name one manager that wouldn't talk to a club willing to offer him more money? Or wouldn't get the best financial deal for himself... In fact name one employee that wouldn't do this. 'I'm building something here' followed up Tony F and the chairman telling us he's going nowhere' Do you see much chat from managers/ directors that say 'Aye I'm leaving as soon as I get more money.' 'Yeah we'll patch him when we can.' These kind of comments are nothing unique to Jack Ross or St Mirren, they happen all the time. It's just clear you don't like him for unknown reasons.
  22. Get me in that sin bin!
