Isle Of Bute Saint
You pray this can be contained if something like this was to spread to Europe it would be deadly. There all sorts of deadly viruses in West Africa in particular. When working in Nigeria knew quite a few mid 20 year old guys who died. No investigation everything is put down as natural causes. I take it they deemed it was safer that way. . It seems that it is possibly the worst outbreak since records were actually kept. I don't doubt that there are many nasty diseases in Africa , most of which tend to stay there with the possible exception of AIDS which did spread but never reached the biblical proportions of infection that were predicted , say in the early 9ts. . Deekthebuddie
Ebola is a f**king scary disease and the cultural stuff in Africa means its spreads like wildfire. They eat bats, which tend to be natural hosts, they hug the dead who have died of it, the hospitals and clinics cant deal with it and the governments try to contain it when carriers (folk infected) have buggered off. Hate to say it but governments have suggested napalming villages with infected residents, as in these places, transmission rates are almost 100% and again, hate to see it but they probably should to contain it as much as possible. The other threat is that Ebola mutates a lot and everyone hopes it doesnt become airborne. If it does, God help everyone
