We started on the front foot and, while we had Doak, the Danes were pushing the ball back to the keeper as we were up there with pace. I think we have suffered since he went off. Unlike some, I think there is a case for McLean as a defensive midfielder but not at the expense of pace and width. Christie hasn;t had the same impact on the right and this has allowed the Danes to keep forward momentum. I think it's going to be more of the same second half. Maybe. if we keep it to 1-0 spaces will appear as they chase the game. That's when the likes of McGinn and McTominay will be important. Maybe it is time for Shankland to be introduced as the balls over the top for Dykes to hold up haven't happened.
