I have praised goody before on match day posts when he was being criticised as I think he has great commitment and is a good player. God knows I think football has been totally ruined by officials and governing body's to the point of turning it in to a non contact sport but I do not want to see any st mirren player deliberately trying to hurt opponents in that sort of way. It was quite brutal and I don't think if he had seriously hurt that young boy there would be so many people backing him. In saying that all players lose there temper at some point as it is a passionate game and it's done but he is definitely going to be a target for the officials now

He's acted like a dick and will be punished - it's fair enough really.
If he was a rubbish player, I'd want him out the club, but he's a good player so I want him to stay.

I have been quite critical of performances recently but thought we did quite well today especially first half. Plus points were the passing, the chances created and the defensive performance kello safe again and thought mcgregor and cheesey had good games. Negatives thommo still too isolated up front and we need someone with pace up there to give us an out ball also I think we still have too many too soft McLean is technically one of our best but he is afraid to go into a challenge

Last night if I had posted I would have been quite critical of our performance but after what happened to Motherwell and hearts just glad to still be in the hat. I think we will take care of the replay and hopefully avoid Dundee utd and Celtic. Was a great move for second goal but apart from that and Connors strike not much else to rave about. I am a big Goodwin fan but it was not his best game yesterday I really hate putting young players down but young Thomas Reilly needs to toughen up fast and get into games more if he wants to have a career as a football player. Thompson was so isolated and for a passing team I lost count of the aimless punts aimed up the park even if Thommo won the header nobody was close to pick it up. A good day out though and hopefully a few more in a good cup run.

Maybe not very poor drew and definitely not as bad as the start of the season just really frustrated as i thought it was opportunity missed I thought thommo was very isolated up front and I believe if we had a more attacking set up we would have got a couple of goals just reading posts about great passing movements etc i thought we over hit passes and gave the ball away very easily

Got to admit I have to totally disagree with the majority on here I thought we were very poor yesterday I could not believe how bad hibs were I thought it was a missed opportunity for 3 points hibs will be a different prospect next time when butcher will have replaced the majority of his squad. I thought kello was magnificent and got us the point taking all those cross balls. We really missed Goodwin as we don't have a great physical presence when the game becomes a battle .
