  1. Jimmy Calderwood would take all 5 places based on his post match interviews after another woeful performance from his team.
  2. And still no mention of the classic "A Shot At Glory"! Surprised at that!!

    Room 101

Absolutely!!! (Heh heh, sorry Bill!). I emailed them when they brought the registration in a while back saying that it was a terrible idea and would turn away the casual visitor and hence the potential customer. Also, some football souvenier collector in Spain or wherever could be looking for Saints stuff but is required to register to look at stuff. Total rigmarole. The official response was "Most people think it's a great idea"!! Oh really?
  4. DVD's = Over priced, over rated rip offs!! So, what do you get for all those extra pounds over the price of a video? A "making of" documentary of the sort that normally fills the schedules on night-time STV, a glutch of deleted scenes (deleted because they were s***e and had no impact in the film), a few minutes of bloopers that were amusing during the first few editions of "Alright On The Night" and last but not least, a photo gallery! Oh joy! So the picture quality is a bit better but the extra price of a DVD is just not worth it for these "fantastic" extras!!
  5. Is todays that Victoria Silvestedtddtde lassie?
  6. Remarkably, "Everything Counts" by Depeche Mode was the first single I owned I think. Got it free with some sort of Top 10 promotion that was being run at the time by Clark's shoes!!
  7. As if the truly vomit inducing "Candle In The Wind" tribute wasn't bad enough, it should be pointed out that Elton John took 50% of the royalties on the sales of it as he included a track from his latest album as the b-side. Don't give a hoot about princess di but that says a lot about the kind of person Elton John is. He would gladly dupe the public into believing they are contributing to charity whereas in reality he was lining his pockets and attempting to reinvigorate a flagging career.

    Cd's

Most people enjoy having an actual CD in their hands as they value the artwork, lyrics, info etc on the insert and would rather have something tangible than just a cyberspace file! Baws tae MP3's!!

    Cd's

Last 5 bought: 1. Vintersorg - "The Focusing Blur" 2. Dragonforce - "Valley Of The Damned" 3. My Dying Bride - "Songs Of Darkness, Words Of Light" 4. Iced Earth - "The Glorious Burden" 5. Xasthur - "The Funeral Of Being"
  10. Those tracks are not very representive of the album. The "burd" only sings on one song and the "thrashy" track is the only fast one on it. Buy the album! A class band that are largely ignored because they are not very well known or because of their musical origins.
  11. Don't worry about me, I'm fine! Depressing music can be remarkably uplifting can it not? Don't be scared of Anathema. Their last few albums have been exceptionally mellow in the vein of Radiohead.
  12. Exactly as it says! HHIBSS suggested that we should consider pieces of music so I did!
  13. Music was mentioned so allow me to list some truly depressing and tear-jerking songs: 1. Deinonychus - "Pluto's Ovoid Orbit / Salus Deceived" 2. My Dying Bride - "For My Fallen Angel" 3. Anathema - "One Last Goodbye" 4. In The Woods... - "Weeping Willow" 5. Anathema - "Are You There"
  14. I'm disappointed that you are encouraging the Tom Hark song. It's widely regarded as a bloody annoyance at Love Street and ruins a perfectly natural celebration! I'd much prefer to hear a crowd cheering than singing and clapping along to a song over the tannoy - very Livingstonesque! It's not very original either - listen out on the TV when there is a goal, it's played at so many grounds.
  15. This thread is about who was over-rated, not who was a dud. Everyone thought Renfrum was a dud so how can he be over-rated if he wasn't rated at all???
  16. 1. Mayhem (Two dead guys! One murdered, one suicide! Must be unique!) 2. Impaled Nazerene (Bass player fell of bridge while pissed! Must be unique!) 3. Metallica. 4. Death. 5. Megadeth. 6. Borknagar.
  17. "Santa Claus You Cnut" by Kevin "Bloody" Wilson is the only one worth mentioning!
  18. Daniel Heiman Bruce Dickinson Simen Hastnaes Fabio Lione Barney Greenway Kimberly Goss Angela Gossow Tarja Turunen Er Um
  19. Wojtek Lisicki Dave Murray Dave Mustaine Luca Turilli Alex Laiho
  20. I thought Stickroth was immense to begin with but I think I'm right in saying that he was on the receiving end of a vicious tackle at Ibrox which did his knee in and he was never the same after that. Victor was past his best but I think there were still some games where he was different class.
