  1. Erm, I have to confess to a musical malaprop, the Shaky hit that was "originally" by Rosemary Clooney was This Ol' House... I am it appears not Sherlock but his hapless sidekick Watson @Eric Arthur Blair
  2. Well that was a month, with over 30,000 dead (Govt. approved total) from Covid and we're still getting new case numbers at the level that took us into the Lockdown2 in November. Still there does seem to be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel with suggestions that the vaccine is starting to have an effect on the number of new cases. The mood music is that schools won't be opened to the children of non-essential workers before Easter (although them crazy Welsh folks are hoping for mid-February!) and that there'll be no foreign travel at all this year (not even for our brave social influencers) as other countries are behind us in the vaccination process.
  3. How many red number years are there in Saints history (26, 59, 87, 13) this could've been another and it will be for either Livi or the Fakes, sure football is about the next game but it's also about the 140odd year history of the club, still a bit early to let it go for me... Nice of you to include one Danish word in the post - Jeg hilser dig!
  4. Glad to say it looks like I called that one wrong.
  5. Baffling choice if we're considering this as three points already lost. Celtic aren't in particularly great form, have a lame duck manager who has yet to make a signing this window AFAIK, are fragile with set pieces which accounted for our first two goals midweek - I know OK did it a coupla seasons ago but we were in the 💩 then. Oh well as ever COYS!
  6. Fairy Nuff - would seem an even better deal for County in those circumstances...
  7. Can't think of any other explanation. Still disappointing though...
  8. Great deal for County especially as he seems to have gone off the boil this season...
  9. Erm, he obviously didn't do enough research if he didn't realize many of the streets where the old lady stood are named after Saints legends. ...and yet another commentary failing to put the Ferguson sacking into perspective. 2/10 and 1 of them points is sympathy for him being a ginger!
  10. Well to a point I agree, but BJ came up here on the day of the SNPs draft budget and focussed more on Independence than Covid, nobody was fooled and I doubt if anyone will have changed their opinion, so I'd say it's was a 1-1 draw with two o.g.'s. Keep it up Boris, tick tock!
  11. I don't know why NS & the SNP were complaining about his visit this week - I'd have him up every week.
  12. It's official now BJ is a walking, talking o.g. even his supporters say so...
  13. Match day again - I'll be a bit disappointed if this turns out to be another "backs to the wall" set-up against the OF. I think Celtic are well off the boil at present and are vulnerable at set pieces - two up front (Obika & Brophy) and plenty of crosses into the box. COYS!
  14. A piece of good news which I'm glad to see.
  15. Well I hope your right, the vaccination program is just about the one thing the government's got correct during the pandemic, I would hate to see it derailed even a little. Just to make it clear while I think the UK government is on the right side of this issue, a touch of generosity may pay better dividends in the long run.
  16. Black Lives Matter movement nominated for Nobel peace prize!
  17. Yup, it's all getting nasty now with the EU invoking Article 16 over the Vaccine distribution problems, although moving off-topic one news item did cause me to chuckle - ex-PM David Cameron's wife complaining about how Brexit had affected her business. Post-Brexit trading 'difficult' for my business - Samantha Cameron - BBC News
  18. Spoken like a man who doesn't care what I or anyone else thinks of him.
  19. I don't know why you continue with this incorrect fetish Cap'n but I've never quoted excess deaths over the course of the last 100 years or so as being relevant to the current pandemic, you're obviously mixing me up with someone else - of course if you can prove evidence to the contrary I'll be happy to acknowledge it.
  20. It's usually interesting arguing with people who have different opinions but when you descend into racism the fun goes out of it and I don't really want to continue, of course as you're not interested in what I or anyone else thinks of you I guess it doesn't really matter. In the end I decided you're not going to bully me off the forum...
