Certainly rode our luck a bit second half there. Dunfermline were given a penalty then the ref changed his mind after speaking to the linesman. Wasn’t sure if it was or not from where I was sitting, but it’s safe to say the Fife contingent weren’t happy with the reversal.

Then Dunfermline missed several good chances late on, including a tap in at the back post that was inexplicably skyed over the bar.

It’s 3 points and we are back top of the league though, and that’s all that matters I guess. We aren’t winning games convincingly any more, but like today and last week in Brechin, we still win.

No problem chap. I’m watching the game on Saints TV, which due to the streaming has had a few issues meaning when Saints scored it was about 3 minutes behind play. So wasn’t sure if I’d missed any bookings.

I must have missed any Saints bookings..... Dunfermline have had two bookings. ????‍♂️

Higginbotham fairly putting in some hefty challenges. I’d be surprised if Dunfermline end the game with 11 men.

Probably just about to deserve to be in front after that. We started on the back foot and Dunfermline had a couple of decent chances early on, one in particular that deflected just wide inside the first five minutes. Then Higginbotham threw himself to the floor after some slight contact with Davis and screamed for a penalty, not given and think the ref got that right.
 
After that we controlled the game and had a couple of decent chances before the goal arrived. Cross falling to Smith at the back post for a tap in.
 
Dunfermline ain’t up to much so 3 points certainly here for the taking if we hold it together second half.
