  1. Bottom line i don’t give a toss who scores the goals for us if its 1 player or preferably 2 maybe 3 whether they score 10 plus (would settle for 6-12)each lol in the league or the split across the major competitions if we somehow have more than 1 doing so it bodes well to some sort of successful season
  2. I'd forgotten about the handicap system they implemented. Yeah all so the big boys win things as always no one having the chance lol
  3. The good old golden shoe where someone from our league needs to score quite a few more than others to be in running lol. As its been pointed out by someone else cant mind who lol. That just means Obika on his strike rate over 2 seasons 13 league goals even in bracket 2 would hqve got him grand total of 19.5 points in the race for it
  4. Well they arent just judged on league goals, goalscorers are just pure and simply judged on scoring goals and get paid to do just that irrespective of who its against. Clearly you did care what was previously said to try and correct something that wasnt said. Your right most teams dont have players to get 10+ goals a season we’ve had Obika and last season McGrath so we are a tad fortunate. This season hopefully will be the turn of Dennis or McGrath again should we keep hold of him.
  5. Brophy has scored a total of 11 pk’s from 35 goals not exactly all he does 1 in 3.5 goals is a pk think he offers more in my opinion going by that stat
  6. Outside of the big 2 in Scotland i doubt there is a club or fans of their respective clubs saying the exact same. Any decent striker worth their salt will not come to Scotland unless they are coming from an “inferior” league and if that is the case then they can not be classed as a prolific striker
  7. The previous poster never said 10+ goals a season in a the league just said 10+ goal per season. The article about McGrath calls him a 17 goals scored midfielder not a 17 league goals scored midfielder moot point to be honest in your post.
  8. https://www.the42.ie/bids-rejected-for-jamie-mcgrath-as-some-serious-clubs-show-interest-in-ireland-midfielder-5496241-Jul2021/
  9. The club didnt make the rule of the time slots or being in at a certain time they are just doing as they are told. We havent had the chance to he at a match in 16 months or so and all i see is feckin moaning at least you were all lucky enough to get a ticket from the ballot be bloody thankful.
  10. I an actually with you on the rule as this is not going away it’s here for good. As you say it has hit every club but pt clubs would be affected more and they have no budgets to bring in short term loan deals or emergency loans the SFA need to find solutions for both ft and pt teams but are all out of lucky bags.
  11. You then need to have different rules for full and part time clubs as the pt clubs do not carry squads big enough to just continue thus they are still penalised even if that rules gets binned.
  12. That is just the start of it will happen to clubs nigh on every week for awhile.
  13. We will not be getting Harvey Elliott he has just had a season at Blackburn was a stand out for them. I would t be surprised if they keep him until Jan and give him some game time already proven what he can do has ability in abundance. No disrespect to our league but playing all season for Blackburn in a better league than ours means not a hope he comes up here unless it was to one Glasgow club with a certain Mr Gerrard as manager.
  14. Everyone is welcome to their opinion as is others to disagree. Personally the so called £250k is bollocks as the minimum fee would be the developmental fee which in turn would be more than that figure. He is still a young boy in terms of actual footballing playing time and has 2 year’s remaining on his contract. If he wants to go then cash in now for maximum money. If not we get another season growing in the game with power and McGrath beside him
  15. Who would you all put in as the starting 11 tomorrow to get us the point as a minimum. Just hope that muppet Hardie has a stinker always seems to do well against us. Then it’s Party in Paisley
  16. Just on the off chance does anyone have a spare ticket for the game I certainly didn’t think we would sell out and left it too late due to other things. One of the regulars in the pub I serve claims to know Brian McGinty and can probably get me one but not confident in that lol.
  17. I think I'm not sure it will still be 18. It the 2 goes to their development squad as I thought I read on their website all on the day tkts are 20
  18. As already been mentioned it could be carnage tomo then don't get me wrong I'm only 1 person but if as is being mentioned on twitter they all do it it could end up very messy
  19. I'm not sure if the tickets are different coloured are ours not res at top and bottom where aactheirs will no doubt be blue
  20. If as is mentioned in twitter every fan that travels down and does what I'm thinking then it could be very very busy at the turnstiles and as you say it doesn't state away ticket or away support then I may need to get to the ground early
  21. Can anyone confirm if our tickets stipulate the away end or a certain stand etc. As there is rumours on twitter the home end tickets don't say anything meaning in theory but one and gain entry into the away end because if it didn't scan if the new turnstiles are installed at away end you could just show steward the ticket to override it and get in if don't say home or away end if mention a stand
  22. Does anyone have a spare adult ticket for tomo by any chance lol
