  1. Was at table 30. Now in The Saultoun Arms near the ground
  2. Weather fine in Aberdeen. Had a very enjoyable night in the Granite city. No sign of anti - St Mirren/west coast. Nutters. Everyone very hospitable. Now in spoons Union St enjoying eggs Benedict and coffee. Can't wait. COYS
  3. The sun is shining. No rain, no snow. We're on our way [emoji591]
  4. Further north beyond Dundee. Nae snow but the bus windaes need a clean
  5. Heading through Fife. Everything is white. Snow everywhere.
  6. Hope the snacks are healthy. Obesity is the enemy. Remember beer has natural nutrients and vitamins. It's better for you than modern snacks.
  7. Our journey started too. On train to Edinburgh to get bus to Aberdeen. We're on our way......[emoji445] [emoji448] [emoji449]
  8. Meant to update this . Got top back with badge repaired. staff at shop A1. Problem solved. After sales service very good. Thanks!
  9. Actually Shull, it's not less it's more. Just logged on to buy my ticket. £18 (acceptable) plus £1.50 postage (acceptable) plus £1 admin charge (not acceptable) so it's actually £20.50 if you buy them online. I'm not actually in a position to pop into the ticket office and I usually buy them online. Looks like despite the new laws St Mirren and Dunfermilne are still penalising people who pay by card. I have swallowed the admin charges in the past but surely this practise should now be outlawed. That could be about £40 extra in admin charges per season for folk who can't uplift tickets personally. That's a rip off.
  10. There are six of us travelling up Friday and coming back Sunday. A spoons breakfast sounds like a pre-match plan. This should be great game. I want to win it but I also want to enjoy it. I will wholeheartedly go in there signing "we're Gonna win the cup" and I'm dreaming of Hampden but if the unthinkable happens I'll settle for coming back singing "We're Gonnae win the league". Feck we're dreaming of Doubles now. We've come a great way since January last year when we we're favourites to go down. What a turn around. How about we just Trust in Jack and see where he takes us. What a great time to be a bud. What a match in prospect. Let's all just enjoy the day and the journey. See you in Spoons Danny Boy.
  11. Well that was a stroll in park. The most comfortable win we've had all season. To be honest Dumbarton looked like a pub team and Nade has certainly been eating all the cakes as his google intro illustrates. The goals were always coming and McGinn's celebration was brilliant. He always involves the fans in his celebrations and I certainly enjoy taking part. MOM should just be given to the team. It was hard to pick out an individual player. A lot of fans starting to believe now. It really does look like we're on our way. Bring on Aberdeen. Something tells me we're on to something good.
  12. It certainly existed on our last visit this season. Hoping it still does today. Thirsty work all that singing, shouting and moaning about ticket prices
  13. On the train heading for the rock. Black coffee, black top, black and white army but no black mood. We're top of the league and they're no. This is a must win game just like every other one since Jan last year. The Buds know what they're doing. So no more moaning. Enjoy the day. Sing along "we're on our way"
  14. Stags head for a small libation before the game and a wee moan about ticket prices with the locals before heading off for an exciting game where we absolutely pump them and declare the ticket was worth ever penny. If only the Stags Head sold Carlsberg. Actually who needs Carlsberg when you've got Jack Ross. St Mirren probably the best team in the Championship. COYS
  15. Another good day at the office. Thought McGinn was the man. The McGinn spin was played to perfection today. He always takes the ball and spins around before charging off or laying on a pass. Thought he was MOM but great to see so many different opinions. The whole team were excellent. I met one of the players close relatives on the train home who said the players deserved extra credit because a flu bug had been doing the rounds and only 6 players took training on Thursday as a result. If true, that may explain the lethargic second halves in the past two games. If that's the case things can only get better when the whole team gets back to their peak. From my seat I had a perfect view of the postage stamp and if that Stellios shot had went in that would have been Goal of the season. What an effort. Well that's my spin on it. See you next week at Dumbarton
  16. Here we go again. Morning train to Paisley for a few libations and another must win game. The previous two ICT games have been most enjoyable and hopefully today will be more of the same . Feck the bank balance is taking a doing with all these games and next week the Robbin B's at Dumbarton are ripping the pish. How we get there I don't know but we're on our way and hopefully after 3 points today A Robbo rant would be good too. Let's give Lewis a big cheer today too.
  17. Oh well just back in NB after another nail biting 90 mins. Not the result we wanted but Morton were the better team on the day. Second half was a nightmare. The minute hand on the clock at the Sinclair street end of the stadium took forever and a day to crawl between 4 and 4.30pm but once they scored it raced to 4.45pm. They were definitely up for it and we were probably lucky to get the draw. Ref made a few dubious decisions but I would say we were the benefactors and not Morton. Apparently 1770 St Mirren fans made the trip. I thought we out numbered them but we definitely missed having a roof to bolster the sound of the drum and the choir which didn't seem as loud as usual. We've not been very Good at Cappilow this season but hopefully we won't be back there again until they can follow us up to the top tier. Every team seem seems to be bigger and physically stronger than us and we play the Highland monsters on Saturday but the two games we have played against them have in my opinion been the two best games of the season so COYS. Skill and technique against bullies. let's make it three wins against them in a row. I don't want to be clock watching on Saturday just celebrating.
  18. I heard there was a shit load of those red tops they couldn't sell and they were all donated to charity so liitle guys in deepest darkest africa were all running about in red tops but as a result of a charity collection in the poorest parts of africa a batch of them were sent to Greenock. Not sure if its true but its a plausible explanation.
  19. Train times are not so good. 1649 Cartsdyke to Paisley. Miss that and it's 1754 till the next one. then 1850. Car may indeed be the best option. The 1649 was mobbed last time because we got pumped and every one left early. hopefully this time we will be singing , dancing and applauding the players after the match because we pumped them. That will take up a bit of time before heading for the Station. Whatever happened to football specials.
  20. Great effort boys and girls. I enjoyed watching that vid. It brings a wee smile to your face knowing our team are on fire, the buds are buzzing and we're all top of the league. Keep it up and I'll see you all on Tuesday for yet another Must win Game. Loving it all.
  21. Great to see old buds, exchanging a bit of banter. nothing like peado, wanker and fanny insults to get things going. Anyway. What a game. What a night, what a weekend and feck hogmanay hasn't even started yet. Big Sammy must get accolade for that save. United were all over us like a rash and that stop definitely saved the day. Thought we were much better in the second half and with Smith pushing up more we looked better. Lewis Morgan is sublime and the rest is history. What a crowd, The queues at the Bull were four deep after the game and buds still kept coming in. Back to NB Saturday and all that Old Firm pulava meant another afternoon of football related frolics had to be endured. With Hogmanay, ne'erday, greenock and then inverness on saturday its going to be hard week. let's hope the Super Saints have an easier time. So happy new year to all the puddin pullers and female appendages out there. See you on Tuesday.
  22. Snow off in NB. Roads clear in the East. We're on our way. Should be in the Bank house by 5. Few of us coming through tonight. COYS.
