  1. Was there not a Renton in there somewhere?
  2. Cammy Murray and Dennis Connaghan either side of Tony and is it not Jim Blair second from the right at the front? The grey cells have stole the rest.
  3. I liked Connell, thought he was a real steady eddie at left back when we needed one. Connaghan, Murray, Connell, Fulton McFadyen, Renton just springs to mind and Connelll certainly did St Mirren a turn when he came our way.
  4. I'm wondering if he is on his way and they are protecting him? Hope I'm wrong.
  5. shaugnessy is also prone to headers that get us goals
  6. Born in the 30'S the `1930'S; methinks. 😉😆
  7. I am not trying to be a scaremonger here, I was answering a question which was; "do i really think people will die because of attending football matches," my honest answer is that it is absolutely certain that some will, anyone who thinks otherwise is living in cloud cuckoo land. Now I am not saying there will be hundreds or even dozens............ but one only has to look at the rise in cases in Japan at the Olympics (and remember this is with NO CROWDS) to be certain that there is bound to be some transmission of the virus particularly among big...... and oddly enough both Celtic and Rangers have had the all clear for full houses, I rest my case, with no great pleasure I might add. And if I am wrong then more fooll me and people will still be here that might otherwise not.
  8. I can't argue with that, but at the end of the day if you gain enough momentum politically you can alter policy and change the way things work.
  9. Which planet do you live on? because on this one, whilst not dying at the rate they were earlier, people are still dying, so to answer your question, yes absolutely.
  10. I don't know the elected members name, do you? and as for who decided? I have even less knowledge of that, equal I suspect to about the sum of your own knowledge. I sincerely do take your point regarding the apparent dismissive nature of that decision by 'a faceless bureaucrat,' which most certainly would not have occurred had they been dealing with those in blue or green frae Glesca. However, as I stated the ability to alter who makes those decisions is within the purview of S.M.I.S., the club, and the public, should enough cages be rattled to initiate action.
  11. PPV is £25 too, at least it was last year, I looked; as I buy all the other games even joining Premier tv (and forgetting to cancel it, doh!)
  12. I do understand how representative democracy works, but if voters can deliver a metaphorical 'kick in the balls' to a sitting government via a by-election result, then clearly there is a path to be trod................ unless of course yer jest a moaning minnie and canna be earsed?
  13. Not utter nonsense at all, who suddenly made you the arbiter of common sense? Have the club acted a shade apprehensively? probably yes, but given we are talking of peoples lives here, and this by the way is supposedly a 'supporters' forum, although anyone who was not actually aware of that might doubt it given the vilification aimed at the club, staff and associates. Put on a fresh pull up and climb back in yer cot.
  14. That's down to the voters my friend, if they don't like who is in power, then campaign for someone who you would like to be in power............ I think it's called Democracy
  15. I, in general tend to agree, given I live down souf I buy the games BUT not Livi, didn't last year and wont this year, I might have paid £20 which is more than anyone else, but £25 really is extracting the urine.
  16. I appreciate the sensible manner in which you justify your interpretation of the data and have no arguments as to its veracity. My point, and it isn't to be pedantic regarding it, is that those who are part of SAGE and similar groups without a doubt are firstly, generally better informed as to the 'big' picture and secondly more appropriately qualified as to be able to utilise such information in the UK context. I honestly believe that people have died as a result of listening to advice from sources that think (at the time perhaps genuinely) that they have a knowledge that they simply do not. I personally have lost family and friends to Covid so perhaps I do have an axe to grind.
  17. Apology accepted ........ isn't it nice when someone realises there wrong and acts accordingly, well done you. It does seem to me that many on this site fancy themselves as 'knowledgeable' re Covid and infection rates etc and perhaps they are to certain degrees, but much in the same manner as we fans tend to 'referee' our teams game, we are not the referee and as far as I am aware no one on this site sites on any advisory panels such as SAGE, but hey I could be wrong. Oh! and if I am, I too shall apologise. Have a good one.
  18. I must have missed your appointment to the SAGE group, apologies.
  19. Pretty sure I read previously that until such time (at the earliest) that everyone who wishes to attend, can attend, the games will continue to be free to season ticket holders. God help me if I'm wrong shiver shiver !!!
  20. Thank you FTOF, totally went out of my mind....doh! sorted it now, now I feel stupid. 😬
  21. has anybody else noticed that the latest 3 interviews have only lasted 29 seconds exactly, I sent a message to club as yet no response, I thought maybe my season ticket renewal had not been registered and I was only getting the start of the interview as a teaser, but I have re registered and my account number is up there when I click on the button any suggestions, sensible ones please.
  22. Point taken: so how about we just lock them up for around 10 years; so we can check it out and meanwhile their lack of consideration for other older folk (who apparently haven't got long left anyway) is less likely to cause unnecessary fatalities among old farts like me and some others who have COPD and asthma and such like ............ or is their right of self determination over not taking a jab more important than other peoples lives. Are we really not worth consideration? I started this as a slightly sarcastic response without wishing to engender a huge and protracted debate on the rights and wrongs of self determination, however given that it really does impact me personally; the latter question is a genuine one. I have heard that there may be a time when whether or not you have had appropriate jabs will determine access to ................. work, large gatherings ie; football matches, weddings, flights, it's a huge can of worms methinks.
  23. Thought this might interest a few who are unsure of the new strip. I just watched a video of Sam from 'footy adventurers on you-tube where by he (Sam) created his own league table of the Premier divisions worst strip from worst to best , Livingstone's black strip was (in Sams opinion) the worst, gues which Paisley team had the best strip. watch it here.
