  1. I watched the Hearts v Aberdeen game the other day and was impressed with the fitba on offer.
  2. Welcome to the forum, pal! It's good to see some positivity. I wouldn't worry about the lukewarm reception; I was accused of being another poster for months,, so it's fair to say folk on here tend to be more than a little suspicious. However, it is an internet forum and there are more than a few 'characters' on here...as in the fictional type, so in a way it's understandable.
  3. I didn't try it. It's limited numbers and I have nothing really important to say.
  4. Location: Hospitality Suite, St. Mirren Park
  5. I for one bought one just to help out the club. I felt especially guilty as I couldn't afford to renew my season tickets (~£800).
  6. I absolutely agree with you. Whilst I ultimately donate my money to SMISA to benefit the club, we should not be expected to do so if other share holders aren't contributing. Our objective should still be to purchase Kibble's shares.
  7. What?! Clearly Obika was playing for us when the picture was taken, so it's a picture of a St. Mirren player! By your logic if I were you to show you a picture of Obika as a baby you'd claim it was a picture of a man, as he's now an adult.
  8. I know some of the young folk in W6 seem to go up there. In the past I have seen half a row vacate their seats and head down that way. Plus a lot of W7ers might not have the means to buy a season ticket. Could it be that safe standing will attract even more of them? W7 seems the ideal place. I doubt it would cost much, and indeed I reckon it could be financed by SMISA. The onbly possible drawback is that it might require a slight reduction in seats in W6, or would make some of them a restricted view.
  9. Put it this way, there are still plenty of seats in the other three stands.
  10. Also, this from P&B which was apparently amended: I do vaguely recall reading that.
  11. I think we ought to be trying to improve the atmosphere and create the best possible match day experience. To me we should do absolutely everything we can to allow for this.
  12. To be fair, from reading P&B it would appear that it's a contractor who's cocking this up - apparently St. Johnstone use them too, and they have had problems with them. But it certainly is a shambles. I 100% cannot blame any Saintees fans who make the journey over from Perth now. As they're e-tickets, it's not like they can correct the error, either. Imagine you're a Saintees fan who buys a ticket, gets an email with his ticket details and then doesn't give it a second thought before travelling down on Sunday? I'd be raging if that was me and I was refused entry.
  13. Indeed. There will inevitably be away fans in that section now, I would think.
  14. 🤣 🤣 🤣 I think the decent thing to do here is concede we have cocked up and allocate seats for away supporters, if we really haven't actually done that already. From P&B, including banter from @munoz:
  15. This is turning out to be a bit of a fiasco! LOL I mean, I can sort of see why St. Johnstone's fans might believe it to be allocated to away supporters:
  16. That certainly looks like it should be an away allocation. Besides, I cannot see us selling out our stands, so why not give it to them? Shocking.
  17. On the ticketing site it's earmarked a section for away fans.
  18. I 100% agree with Bazil, here. St. Mirren is not just a service which sells products that I consume, like Tesco, it is something that I am emotionally invested in and which I want to see flourish. I have therefore previously not asked for refunds when I otherwise would have, and I do let the club get away with standards of servive that I would otherwise not accept. However, as Bazil has written above, we should not be accepting poor management and service. It is annoying, and I worry it will put off potential supporters. It's a balance - I have bought a shirt, and will not return it unless it falls apart. But I will be annoyed if this happens again.
  19. Saint Johnstone have, thus far, sold three tickets for the game:
  20. I've bought two tickets! ETA: https://www.stmirren.com/matchtickets
  21. From a credible source?! I was really hoping to get a ticket for Sunday's game, too.
  22. Taking over an operation like St. Mirren will not be a simple endeavour. Have a bit of patience, please!
  23. I'd say we're around the same size. I'd rank us alongside: Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Partick Thistle, Falkirk and Dundee.
