  1. If the greens weren't pro indy, the SNP would probably have got a lot more votes on the list (and the greens less) and gained at least one more seat.
  2. No recovery necessary, it was what I was alluding to all the time.
  3. I'll wait until I'm behind to do that then. Just answer the question, what did I say that was incorrect? I never said he mentioned the number of games, what exactly is your point? I think you better go back and read what was actually said and not rely on what you think was said. I pointed out the flaw in only using points as a measure when going to back to years that had a different number of games and a different points system. For instance, if they decided that next season was to be 10 points for a win and we won six games, finished bottom and were relegated, do you think that directly comparing points totals and saying "the most points we've had since 19 canteen" would be a good measurement? Of course it wouldn't. Now, if you would kindly stop trying to put words (or anything else) in my mouth, it would be much appreciated.
  4. Ok, point to where I said, or even insinuated, he was wrong. I've already said that I never said that, do keep up, ffs. More to the point, show me what I said that was wrong. Compared to a 36 game season, we haven't got a game to spare, we have played one more. What exactly is your point here, you just seem to have jumped in trying to start an argument. Are you fed up arguing with yourself?
  5. No. Using a football analogy, having you in the team is like being 3 men down. Basically I'm saying that you are less than useless, a hinderance to your own side, etc.
  6. Aye, but you've got Oaky, so that really changes it from 4-2 against us to 2-1 in our favour. [emoji1787]
  7. It might be a firmware update that has been pushed out and f**ked it up. Try turning it off for a while (at least 10 minutes, but the longer the better) then seeing how it is (when turned back on, obviously, before some smartarse says something). If that fails try pushing the reset button. That will wipe any changes you have made to the factory setup but, going by what you have said, I don't think you will have made any so nothing to wipe.
  8. The IP address conflict is just a guess, but it would be the easiest thing to fix if it is that. I've never had Sky so don't know what the setup is. Does the mini box have a hardwire connection or does it connect wirelessly to the main box or does it go wirelessly via the router? To be honest, if all these issues just started happening I would be looking at the common denominator, which would be the router (if I am guessing the setup correctly).
  9. Ok, here we go again. I'm getting fed up giving free reading and comprehension lessons on here - I said he "wants to", I didn't say that he would. Any more of these failures with basic English and you two can go sit with B**. (I don't want to name him in case he's like Beetlejuice but only needs named once.)
  10. It may be an IP address conflict between the laptop and mini box.
  11. Not so much of a pile on, they're more of a tag team. However, if you actually want the count, your involvement makes it 4-2 against us - but I'm sure we could take them. [emoji16]
  12. There are still a couple of places that have the Tuesday half day.
  13. Yeah, well, I don't really care what your opinions are, I've never been one to court popularity - I'd rather be right than popular and, in this instance, I get my wish. [emoji14] And, I think our Jersey friend just wants to see my bare arse. [emoji1787]
  14. What he did afterwards is totally irrelevant to my response to his post (shown below) where he only mentioned "points tally" and games "to spare". It's not really difficult to understand. He made specific points, I addressed only those points, so what is your issue with it?
  15. I'm being pedantic because I only addressed the points he mentioned??? Really??? Nobody was talking about how we have developed or how to measure it, so why are you bringing that up?
  16. He was talking about points gained and games played (or, actually, games left to play) and that's what I pointed out the flaws in. The teams in the league, the players who are in those teams, the types of surface, the weather or anything else was irrelevant to the point he was making. I just addressed his points.
  17. You mentioned "a game to spare" when, in reality, we have played a game more than some seasons. Also, my first reply to you said DIRECTLY COMPARABLE (see below), so what are you whinging about. Are you really saying that if you have to manipulate the data to get something directly comparable it means that the original data was directly comparable? I never disagreed that we have more points, I just pointed out the fallacy of using only points as a yardstick.
  18. FFS, it isn't difficult. If you have to manipulate the data before comparison then it isn't DIRECTLY comparable.
  19. If they win 9-0 they go above Killie on goals scored with both finishing on -22 goal difference.
