  1. If JG went and played 4 4 2 or 4 4 1 1 then with connolly and durmus playing as out and out wingers we may have fared better. Who knows tho. I'm just old school and think that's how footy should be played
  2. Interestingly killie play hamilton on Saturday, no pressure on hamilton really they need a 19 goal win to overtake killie🤣. Pressure is all on killie, going for a hamilton win
  3. Ok it's their not there😉 and I've not even had a drink🤣🤣🤣 tho i might need one after that match haha
  4. Phew, well the good thing is killie left 2nd bottom. Hamilton gone and if it finishes on Saturday with killie 2nd bottom I don't fancy there chances against dundee
  5. Give him the service..............sometimes he will hit the net😉
  6. That would have been better than an equaliser
  7. Hamilton 2-1 down and off to the championship if it stays this way
  8. Oh wait, try something new by playing ball into space and....................goal at end of it. Amazingly new tactic
  9. I've only caught a few bits of first half being the goal🙄😡😡😡 and the last 5 or so minutes of first half. I think suffering the teenage tantrum from my middle lad was more enjoyable🙄
  10. He fits in well with the Burnley style of play, I'm not sure he would fit well with a more passing, less direct team
  11. If you look why the Cheltenham fans thought so highly of JDH the reason is he had a solid defensive midfielder(and captain) in Ben Tozer no doubt encouraging him. JDH is being asked to play in that position, which I'd say hasn't done much of before. Not really rocket science why he may be off the pace at times.
  12. IMO this would be a good game to revert to 4 4 2 with Tait and McGrath in middle with Durmus and Connolly as out and out wingers. I'm sure Flynn fitted in at fullback before and Fraser I'm sure can do other side. Kilmarnock know we got a soft midfield so why not try something a bit different.
  13. Does my head in! Media struggle to say anything positive about us, makes them ill to do so
  14. Yeah did see that 1st leg tho.
  15. Having had a look at his club stats, after his trial with us joined Quimper in French lg4 which I would assume far lower standard than SPL then onto le harve b team then 1at team so in that respect whoever his coaches were able to help build his qualities into the player he was when he left for Leicester. Unfortunately if he had signed for us I fear he would have been thrown in as the next big star almost immediately and may have had the opposite effect on his career.
  16. Very true. After reading bbc report, etc on this what it seems like another chance for SFA to put the boot in, quite petty imo if you look at original award table then Livingston and Hamilton have a review date of June '21 but not us.
  17. Their 80s music playback. Hits of 1988. Year I left Camphill at 16!! Shudder/interested what was in charts then.😯/☺...........
  18. For me the top end of the EPL bores me especially when sky sports hype up a big match and it turns crap. Much prefer watching the race to escape he drop and watching the promotion chasers from the championship. Only season that was entertaining in top of EFL when Leicester won it.
  19. From down here Labour need to start making inroads as shockingly most of Cumbria turned blue last gen election😯, for me I would rather stick pins in my eyes than vote that way. The poll tax did it for me being chased for 87p some things you don't forget. It's rather a better situ to have up north imo. In saying that my dad is still as SNP through and through as he was years ago in paisley, keep having to remind him there isn't much call for them in cumbria 😂😂
  20. I've said before there are a few teams in spl who will struggle financially once players contracts come to an end and really can't afford to re sign on same terms, etc. Aberdeen being a prime example with players deferring wages etc, they will want paying at some point. I do honestly think although we not brought in money anywhere near what normally would have, the club is run more frugally brought on by mistakes of past and will be in a far far better shape for next season. I do think also if we keep on the same situation of being a selling club with no real ambition then I do think JG will be off as soon as. I think extending his contract by 3 years suggests different tho.
  21. I do see where you are coming from, I just look on it a bit different. Life would be boring if we were all of the same view👍
  22. It all depends on how you look at it. I would use it as a motivational tool for the players if I was JG to be fair. Finishing with more points does seem meaningless at moment and does seem rather odd to everyone I work with tbh but a good way of saying to players 'you can do it!!'. A good finish to season and push on for next, we haven'thad that for years in top flight.
  23. I think a lot rests on where we end up at end of season, if we finish 7th with more points as the 2 above then there surely there must be the motivation for to push for higher next season for any undecided players. As I've said before out with the big 2 and maybe county and accies there really isn't much between the other 8 just if you can put a run together and get a good mentality then we can be up there. Aberdeen and a few others are a car crash waiting to happen again once their players don't agree to deferring wages etc. Unfortunately some may think the grass is greener, same as any forms of work.
