  1. I'm in Jersey wishing I was in Fife. Now there's something you don't hear people say very often!
  2. Prefer season 77/78 when we were unbeaten against the Jungles in 4 games. 2 wins at Parkheid and a win and a draw at Love Street. Even the draw we were 3-1 up with 10 mins to go. Seems totally unthinkable now. Those were the days.
  3. What are you drawing my attention to here? That says inauguration of the new stadium of Barcelona FC. Doesn't say anything about the Nou Camp. The new stadium in question was the Las Corts Stadium.
  4. In all seriousness, I've lost count of the times I've heard Saints fans say the Barcelona Cup was to celebrate the opening of the Camp Nou. Philistines!!
  5. Yes but it would only work on someone who didn't know the Barcelona Cup was in 1922!!
  6. We've never played at the Camp Nou. Contrary to popular belief!
  7. It's got the tra and the correct number of las to be Brown girl in the ring. Erm......a Boney M fan told me that.
  8. Exactly. In the words of the great 21st century poet Jessica Cornish...... Ain't about the ch-ching ch-ching Ain't about the bi-bling bi-bling
  9. And it is to the eternal shame of the other clubs (in fact was it not Aberdeen in particular) that this ridiculous voting system wasn't overturned while Rangers were out of the picture. They are now back and we're stuck with it forever. If find this more baffling than anything else that has happened.
  10. I see. Misunderstood what you were saying.
  11. Your scenario assumes there is only one club interested in him. Isn't the point that's being made that if more than one/several clubs are interested, one might to prepared to offer a decent fee in order to guarantee securing his services, rather than losing him to a competitor?
  12. Maybe a little early to say he plays like George Best, but I see what you mean. For the time being I'd liken him to the young James McFadden only blessed with lightening pace. And if Faddy had pace he'd have been a frightening prospect.
  13. Sat in departures at the airport heading back to Jersey. Another fabulous performance yesterday. So exciting to watch. Morgan is quite rightly drawing huge plaudits at the moment and he did have another great game yesterday, but for me Gavin Reilly was motm. What a player he is, he never stops running and his hold up play for a wee fella is absolutely fantastic. It was funny after Morgan was announced as motm it was like he felt he didn't deserve it and that he ought to do something special. So he went on that thrilling late run. He left the ICT players for dead and if he had been a little more selfish and finished it off himself it would have been an amazing goal. Special mention also for Eckersley who was also superb yesterday. Totally assured and didn't put a foot wrong. Cannae wait to come up for my next game. Funny monent of the day was the Caley fans joining in with if you hate Wullie Collum clap yer hands. Lovin the new Lewis Morgan song too!!
  14. aye but we had nobody to blame but ourselves. We absolutely panelled Switzerland that night but somehow contrived to only win 1-0. One more goal and we'd have qualified. That said, if we'd scored a second, Seaman would only have let another one through his legs.
  15. At the risk of inducing a "let me just google that for you ya lazy bassturt!" response, does anyone know how many goals/assists Lewis has had since the turn of the year? Not being lazy (well I am kind of), butI know that some folk seem to have that sort of info at their fingertips.
  16. I would certainly rather he stayed than we get buttons for him, but if continued performances like that for the U21s thrust him into the limelight and we can get seriously good money for him, it would be madness not to take it. I'd just do a Hibs. Put a price on him and simply refuse to take any less.
  17. Brilliant performance. Great wee team. Lewis Morgan outstanding
  18. Lewis playing well. Two occasions the greedy wee knob in centre mid should have played him through, but cut inside and lost the ball.
