Glasgow doesn't have the capacity to handle freight! Plus - you have to look, not 2/5/8 years to the future. Flights are not just for your annual fortnight in magaluf, or your stag / hen weekend! The demand for air travel continues to grow decade by decade. In 30 years Gla/EDI will be totally full & another major airport in the central belt will have to pick up the swell! Think about the B&W pics of Glasgow in the 60s / 70s

for a start a "YES" squad isn't an SNP squad. If what you say is true though - glad to see they were "mob-handed" - shows the strength of footsoldiers that the YES teams have compared to handful of councillors / MSPs at a photo opportunity on a hired bus! you can start anytime you like - the point is that most groups feel it is futile to go "on the doors" mid-afternoon. Leaflet drops or even shopping centres for sure, but most folk are out during the day, or, if at home, are unlikely to answer the door to unexpected callers. It is bad enough at weekends - even when you hear the telly on!!

You posted this at 15.16! Now, from my experience, it is highly unlikely that ANY team (Yes or NO) would be "knocking doors" at 3pm! T-time or weekends, yes by all means. A leaflet through the door? Brilliant!!! To be fair - I don't think Dicko is "thick" To be able to troll for 216 pages takes some skill & guys like us are biting! He just can't see certain points in the woods. He has however. failed to indicate where Lally was "abused" by any Government advisor or official. (Not denying twitter has had it's moments, but, it's as bad on both sides!)

Re-read my last post! Abuse by certain people on Twitter / blogs etc is one thing. To claim that a Government official should lose his livelihood for 1 minor mistake is ridiculous! Has no one ever asked YOU if you are related to blah.. or blah... in error? Lally brought it on herself rather than letting it go - she knew EXACTLY what she was doing - for the "cause"
