Tams payment has been made and will continue to be paid by his wife Mary.Buy the Buds was very close to his heart and i echo my mates sentiments that he is recognised by the club in a way that is fitting for a guy who invested heavily in St Mirren every season.He hated fuss and would be so taken aback that so many of our supporters are calling for a lasting tribute in his memory.Tam was St Mirren and deserves any memorial the club may give. In the 14th minute of the game against Morton there will be a minutes applause for Tam and his family will be attending the match.I can think of no better way to show the McGarry family how much he was loved by us all.After the game we will all be heading to Langs for a celebration of his life and maybe catch the Uni celebration also.Tam was special and i hope as many of you as possible can join us on the day. We are St Mirren.

Thanks everyone for their kind words.Tam donated his organs which enabled others the gift of life.I am so proud to call him my best mate.He was so upbeat about our bid to buy the club and as such we cannot let this opportunity go.I loved this guy so much and trust our fans to reach our goal.Theres only one Tam McGarry.He never left my side !!!!!

Season ticket purchased,supporters bus fully paid up,Buy the buds signed up, New Saints top ????????? Was really hoping the family would be sitting round the pool with our new Saints tops on in 3 weeks time but time will tell i suppose. Maybe that will be my Xmas present sorted though.

Happy to report that a few friends of mine have simply not got round to signing up yet so i,m hopeful that this is the case with a lot of our fans and i,m looking forward to a surge of applications following tonights meeting.The opportunity to take control of our club must surely be grasped with both hands following an abysmal 3 years and i feel that Alex Rae and Faz will awaken us from the slumber.This in turn will return the feel good factor to our support. I can fully understand the apathy with some of our support but i genuinely feel that without everyones support this bid and the future of our club will be compromised.Lets get it over the line by spreading the word.Get your brothers,sisters,aunts and uncles signed up.We are St mirren!!!!!!

5 years maybe 10 years from now Goody will be saying in a press interview that he,s returning to his spiritual home.You heard it here first.

I am not a member of the club but asked if i could attend as a guest along with 3 friends from the dark side.We were welcomed in and enjoyed a few drinks in the company of fellow buds.My friends were able to engage in conversation with Goody.Thommo.Tony,Lewis etc and one of them said that he could not believe the feeling that we were more like a family than a football club.Well done to all at the fans council for their efforts.I will for sure sign up next year even if its just to save me £24 admission.Cheers lads.Well done.

What about the one we did not sign,Mahrez.I would bet my last that he would have slumped to mediocrity and be playing in the 5th tier of Algerian football right now.

If i was Alex Rae i would seriously wonder what a pea brained club i was the manager of.The last umpteen managers had an allegiance to either one of the old firm and low and behold we have now got one who has given us a bit of stability and hope for the future and some of our support are up in arms because he attended a football match.He was not wearing a magic hat nor a no surrender scarve but observing a game involving his boyhood team. I,ve no doubt there were a number of managers and players attending this game who had a leaning to either side and i have no problem with that whatsoever as its their day off and they are entitled to do whatever they like.Our managerial team have come in for unjust criticism because of who they support but i dont think for a minute it would interfere with how they feel about St Mirren. Time to put it to bed.FTOF.

Just shows what we CAN do when we pull our ideas together.I will have about 5 family members bidding for a jersey.Add the fact they could have their kids/nephews as mascots then the money raised will be much higher than previous years.Lets get it to the next level.

May i suggest an idea that would bring more money into the pot on the day.In the midst of the fan ownership bid why not include a Director for the day event.The board room can be opened and for the fans who are not fit enough to play can enjoy a pre match drink and sit in the comfy seats and enjoy the match.This is not suggested tongue in cheek as i genuinely believe there are people out there who would enjoy the craic of being a director for the day and make more money for youth development.

Is there any chance that you can stop all this pish about sofas and get back on track. Theres nothing more tedious than going through absolute dross when all you really want to read about is the future of the club. Thanks in advance but i wont hold my breath.

I,m in,My family will be in and i will be canvassing lapsed Saints fans and drinking buddies in my local to support their local team.Hopefully now we will have positivity coming from within the club but we need to do it as one.Fans council,Smisa,supporters clubs,season ticket holders.We should all be in this together.STID and all that.

I work closely with a company who are all Plymouth brethren.On a visit to us we invited one of their fellas out to lunch.He declined saying he could only eat with people who broke bread with him.I told him that i took communion but that did not satisfy his needs.This took me aback and i then went into a heavy discussion about whether he thought he was above other human beings who had christian values also.It would appear from his answers that he did.Needless to say i now order less from them than i did previously as my philosophy is we are all Jock Tamsons bairns regardless of religious beliefs. Treat people as you would expect to be treated yourself and you wont go far wrong.

Dont let Tony,s exterior mannerism fool you.Inside he,s as tough as old boots and will no doubt not miss and hit the wall when players come to him for bonus,s etc that he does not think are due.What he says at times are the opposite of what he thinks and he does not suffer fools gladly.I,ve absolutely no doubt that his appointment will galvanise our club and the supporters and hopefully push the sale of the club on as well.Our clubs in good hands with a guy who genuinely loves St Mirren.Welcome home Tony.You,ve reignited my passion for all things St Mirren.

One of the reasons why i am not involved on committees of both Smisa and the fans council is the constant sniping generally amongst our support.I would love to assist but feel that i would end up punching someone on the throat for knocking the idea of assisting the club that i love.Cant we all work together to achieve our goal of the club returning to where we should be at the top end of Scottish football.We are all one,Smisa,Fans Council ,Disabled Fans,Supporters Clubs etc and again i will say it require to work TOGETHER to achieve our goal.

Only thing revealed was that the club was close to being sold.Something i thought would be good news for our fans who feel we have stagnated in recent years.

Ok i will get a hold of my source today and kick his arse for feeding me wrong information.I dont go on this site and blab about discussions i have had with people at the club but suffice to say i have no reason to disbelieve what i have been told.

I have been told Gordon is not involved but Smisa are.I have also been told that there has over the years been loads of people *interested* but nobody has put their money where their mouth is.As stated previously i have no reason to doubt that the club is very close to being sold and also that we will have another player in this week.To my fellow Saints fans who i informed that Farrell would be in by Monday i failed to say which Monday but he did arrive.Patience peeps.

Better be concluded before Saturday as the boys on my bus are ready to slaughter me for telling them the club was in the midst of finally being sold.I firmly believe the club will be sold very soon and that we will have another player in this week.
