I noticed tonight that The Cottage Arms is no more. It's had a lick of paint,well dodgy green paint to be precise,and renamed The Mosslane.

Nothing to do with Pubs opening or closing but to do with prices. The Gleniffer Hotel has 3 bars....The public bar charges £2:70 for a pint of lager which is not bad.The downstairs function suite charges £3:20 for a pint which is ridiculous but wait for the best.....................the upstairs function suite charges £3:50 a pint.f**kin unbelievable for what is no more than a scheme pub.

SFS would have loved it tonight.

I dropped a mourner off at Woodside but unfortunatly couldn't stay.Had to be somewhere at 12:15pm.It was nice to see everybuddie gathered and loads walking up the hill as I drove down. I hear The Crown Bar made a fortune between 11 and 11:30!!!
