  1. 8 weeks?! Didn't Danny say he'd be back for Killie on the 2nd? Where did u hear 8 weeks out bud?
  2. Kello, Naismith McAusland McGregor Kelly Goodwin Newton McGinn McLean Campbell Thompson McGowan was poor today, see how the young lad gets on first half then switch him out for Gowser if it isn't working.
  3. Oh you cynic! However, I did elect to tick the boxes prohibiting them from doing just that, should they choose to ignore that fact then I'll be taking them to task for a whole lot more than a pound.
  4. Cancel within a month and it'll cost them money, take them down from the inside ;-)
  5. Ye,saw that. The chap on the phone said 28 days, if it's 10 weeks then so be it, for a quid I'll take the punt. £1 for the first month then £8 odds a month thereafter, I'll be cancelling after a fortnight!
  6. Just called the redemption telephone number - 0800 1388475 and was quoted 28 days for shipping.
  7. Link below shows the Saints top being offered, not bad for a quid! http://www.toffs.com/st-mirren-1970-1972-retro-football-shirt
  8. This line up would seem far more balanced than what we've started games with of late. We have a squad, if you don't use it when results and performances are this poor then what's the point??
  9. Celtic Aberdeen Motherwell St Johnstone St Mirren Dundee Utd Ross County Killie Hibs ICT Partick Thistle Hearts (won't finish the season)
  10. The Saint Mirren fan's opinion is well documented. The vast majority, 97% of over 300 polled, have voted to say that they do not wish for St Mirren to vote in favour of any NewCo admission to the SPL. Statements from Dundee United, Hearts and Aberdeen have shown the likely result of the vote on 4th July. I think we can expect further statements today from other member clubs. From St Mirren's point of view, by the end of today our vote may not be required in order for a decision to made. If we want to show our hand then we should do so while it still matters. St Mirren fans want the club to be a leader, not a follower. If we do not make an announcement today the the club will be regarded as weak willed. I would therefore encourage the board to make their statement today, there is no need for consultation of fans at this stage, our opinion is already known to you.
  11. Unlikely then that any shortfall could be made up by increasing the loan from them. Best bet then is probably to ask the selling consortium to allow us to pay them less upfront but more in installments. Do we think they'd be receptive to that?
  12. Is the £1m figure specific to the 10000hours deal or a general limit Bii set on any investment they make.
  13. I believe there was an initial payment of £900k being made to the consortium. £500k of which was being paid through the Bii loan backed by £7500 worth of individual's monthly subscriptions. Now that we're sitting at £10400 per month is there scope to increase the loan amount from Bii proportionately and on the same terms? This could provide an extra £200k towards the £900k lump sum.
  14. Or one of the following, depending how much you want to commit: £15 per month http://10000hours.org/dd15.php £20 per month http://10000hours.org/dd20.php £25 per month http://10000hours.org/dd25.php £30 per month http://10000hours.org/dd30.php £35 per month http://10000hours.org/dd35.php £40 per month http://10000hours.org/dd40.php £50 per month http://10000hours.org/dd50.php
  15. In that circumstance the newco should be banned from being promoted for a minimum of 3 years.
  16. I think it's got to be paid upfront. You could always make a higher monthly commitment to the ordinary members category though.
  17. Okay so if my maths is correct, and I'd like to think that it is, then: For every £83.33 per month (or £1k per year) subscribed to the ordinary members category we need £1k less to come upfront from the 1877 and 87 member categories. Is that what 10000hours are basing their numbers on? We needed the following upfront from those categories based on the original £7.5k per month target: 1877 club - £25k x 9 members = £261k AND 87 club - £3k x 87 members = £225k I think that based on this week's momentum we can realistically get to £10000 per month in ordinary member subscriptions by Monday, that equates to around £30k per year more from ordinary members than the target was set at and therefore £30k less required upfront from the 87 and 1877 clubs. It'd be great to know if that'll be enough.
  18. I make that two less 87 club members required. Let's do everything we can to keep this momentum going over the weekend, it could make the difference.
  19. Good news I hope, are we all the proud new owners of the world's greatest football team?
  20. Cheers Div, that was easier than I expected, literally took one minute. eta, I did it the first way.
  21. Been thinking this myself, anyone know how I'd go about increasing my monthly subscription amount?
  22. If voting Rangers out the SPL isn't a reason to part with your hard earned cash then I don't know what is. Even if other clubs vote hem in at least we can say we not only support but OWN a club that believes in sporting integrity.
