  1. Penalty? Clearly what Vanzy should have done was a two footed lunge - both feet off the ground and studs showing mind - then handballed it. Then it wouldn't have been a penalty, going by the Partick v Utd game. Absolute joke of a decision. Don't care what anyone says, these decisions change games. Without the 1st goal, the 2nd straight from kick off wouldn't have happened and then the team wouldn't have thrown in the towel. Anti-Lennon posters won't agree (and I'm slowly coming round to that position myself) but without that penalty decision, we could have gone on to win.
  2. Giving this a miss due to ridiculous pricing at Inverness. Hope for a win, would take a draw, expect a loss.
  3. Was going to go but then checked the prices. £31 just to get me and my young boy in, let alone transport and food. Unless a club offers sensible prices, especially for a 6 year old FFS, they'll not be getting a penny from me.
  4. Reading the summaries of the meeting while listening to greetin' knuckledraggers on Your Call on the tranny - what a complete contrast between our clubs and thank feck I support who I do. "Scottish football" is not f**ked - its 2 biggest clubs are. Elsewhere there are great things going on and we typify that.
  5. I'd welcome him as back-up to Thompson and Nigel in a shot. McQuade looks like he'll never make it and it's too early for McShane. After that, we've got nothing.
  6. From what some Dundee fans have told me, what he would do is walk around our midfield, applying himself if and when it suited him. A big fish in the 1st Div but he'll be lost in the Premier.
  7. Sounds like a great lad to me. You on the other hand.... How are things in the Wee Frees nowadays?
  8. Cheer up, no-one ever said it was even close to a done deal. The only thing linking us was a bit of idle specualtion in a rag - he was never coming to us so we've not lost a thing.
  9. Great shout. Strolled through the game on Saturday. Can't understand why Butcher is getting rid TBH.
  10. Park in one of the side streets off Murray St - always plenty space and never had a problem there. Happy to help in any way I can. (And I've never had to queue more than a couple of mins for a ticket or turnstyle - you must be really unlucky. )
  11. I would suggest there are hundreds of left backs out there at least as good as Travner. We'll miss him only if we don't get some one else in. I would suggest that's the case for all our players eg we won't miss Higdon if Thompson signs.
  12. I do wonder why, if this guy was a target in summer, why we don't go back for him now he's free - would only have to be a 3/4 month deal.
  13. Certainly not what he said post-match. Said there is always a wish list but there's no way to do anything without shifting someone first.
  14. DL confirmed after today's game there will be no new arrivals unless someone can be moved out.
  15. Is that true? From what I know of Dundee, there aren't many clubs in the spl that could afford Harkins or Griffithsand we're certainly not among them. I'd forget all about them.
  16. Doesn't make sense. What does wardlaw's signing have to do with O'Donnell coming in? Completely different players.
  17. Possibly because of the amount of money he'son - out of our price range. Like the idea of McNamee though if he's as good as he used to be. Would have him at RB and Barron in the middle.
  18. We've clearly been played. We put his name out there, McKay has been in touch with other clubs and Harte's had a better offer, probably phoned through to him as he reached Gretna. That's modern football for you.
  19. Came through at the same time as Lambert and IMO was a better player. Had he left about the same time he would have had a great career - one of a number of players who stayed with us too long. (That wee s***e Grady didn't help either).
