Wait till yeez here this...... On the 3 radio shows I do, we have started receiving crank mail.....strange, weird cryptic stuff, long, almost unreadable messages.....meaningless almost with pictures of Marilyn Monroe, Campbel's soup can (Warhol), frmed pictures of Clark Gable, and other 50s stars, books , key rings, pairs of socks...loadsa stuff....but last Thursday it all took a turn for the better......... 20. Have been advised by many to check out Rush, not managed yet, though I am tempted by snippets from them. Killing Joke, the whole band? or jeest the drummin' Tom. Oh aye...met, played pool with and drank reasonable amounts of beer with (it was 1977, I was only 16 mind) Steve Holly, drummer with Wings, splendid time with the band, Paul and Linda only joined us at Keil Hotel every other day.......... Mind this? the St Mirren connection? "drummers, some say they are thick, when you ask of their technic..they say I hit it with this stick" eat your heart out Sandy Nelson.
  21. evening buddies, logged on from the radio station half an hour ago but somehow the broadband access would not let me post...I wanted to tell youz in real time what I was playing...... anyway, tonight I played Dance With The Devil by Cozy Powell, not quite a drum solo, more of a whole drum track.

  23. Hey Reidy, great, would be DEElighted if you could record it to CD, I would play it on Argyll FM (shh ) would not have been able to do so tonight though . We have one of those Performing Rights Society audits Every track on that album is radio friendly, also, funny, rocky, quirky, I am sure if it was re-released now it would be a hit aall over again. Quality man...pure quality You could send it via Argyll FM or to me at Polliwilline Farm. Thanks very much Jim
