  1. Only 3/1? I got 10/1 when Raith were a goal up. [emoji41] Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  2. We are all Arbroath FC. If they win the league, I reckon that will be a bigger achievement than Leicester winning the Premiership! [emoji50][emoji50][emoji50] A part time team. Favourites for relegation. Punching above their weight. They remind me of 1977 St Mirren who had part time players and no chance. Favourites for relegation. One of the players was John Young... Current Arbroath coach. The Campbell twins are old school a la Fergie. It's 2 fingers at the hierarchy's eletist entitled attitude! Mon the Red Lichties! 5. Why 14 days? If not symptomatic and feeling well, a clear LFT test on day 6 and 7 sees you released! Enjoy your week off! Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  6. Originally we were told than as antigens could remain in the body for up to 90 days, NOT to do a Lateral Flow Test during that period but to check temperature and for other symptoms daily. That has totally changed now, especially with the latest "advice"! Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  7. Newspaper report today said... The official three symptoms of Covid according to the NHS are a new and continuous cough, a fever and a loss of taste and smell. However, with Omicron, many people don’t experience any of those three symptoms at all. Many people who have had covid, including those studying the variant, have compared omicron's symptoms to a common cold. But now experts have released their official symptom list for the latest variant. The eight early warning symptoms of Omicron according to data from the UK, US and South Africa are: Scratchy throat Lower back pain Runny nose/congestion Headache Fatigue Sneezing Night sweats Body aches These symptoms may appear as early as two days after being exposed to someone who has omicron. However, symptoms can take longer to appear, even up to 14 days after exposure, which is why if you've been exposed to the virus, you should either continue to test regularly (every day) or self-isolate for (up to) 10 days. 8. I'd take that in a heartbeat! As long as we don't waste Allan. We have a history of taking other teams best players and making them seem useless. [emoji850][emoji26] Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  9. Asked my Hibbee pal his thoughts on Gogic... I liked him bud ..tough tacklin no nonsense midfielder..no bad distribution n doesnt shit out of tackles. Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  10. I had never heard that before but if true, asked sense. Reid and Hanson in defence together? Who needs a goalkeeper? [emoji41] Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  11. I can say with as much certainty as anyone speculating can... Bobby Reid was not only our finest ever centre half in my lifetime, but would have become a Scotland mainstay for years to come. Tragic loss to football. Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  12. Shame. I really liked him as a player and he came across as a really nice guy. Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  13. Scan was sublime. He faced an impossible task of replacing Peter... errrr... Forget his surname! For once in my lifetime, we came out best in a trade deal! [emoji41] Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk

  18. Great article by comedian Dan Antopolski... Saw him at the fringe as part of Jigsaw. Hilarious. https://www.beyondthejoke.co.uk/content/11486/dan-antopolski-cancel Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk

  20. Slainte! Merry Christmas. To those not with us. I'm celebrating by listening to Floyd's Wish You Were Here and having a wee snifter! Not morbid at all... It suits my mood perfectly. If I may impart one wee bit of advice! Got a "bucket list"? Change that this very minute! Make it a "f**kit list" If it is worth doing, do it. MAKE it happen! Don't wait! Live every day as if it is your last. One day, you will be right. Don't leave regrets. Leave memories! [emoji3590] Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  21. I'm tired. I'm fed up. I'm pissed off. I've done everything I can. Yet today I had to go for a PCR test as a close contact and close down our work 2 days early due (unnecessarily) to lack of staff! How can I lead a team when our leaders refuse to lead either by reliable advice or example? I want to tell my team facts and be confident in my advice... But continually come up against conflicting advice! All that said... I read this post on social media tonight from a friend... Ooookay. Questions for the anti vaxxers out there. Why are you so angry? Why do you insist on "my body my choice" for yourselves but deny that choice to people who choose to take the vaccine? No one in UK is being forced to get vaccinated. Not everyone who is choosing to get vaccinated is doing it from fear. Many of us are doing it from a sense of community and collective responsibility. And yet you shout at those people and accuse them of being "sheep" and (that cliche term) sheeple. How do you know you've taken the red pill and not the blue one*? I don't know either, but I'm only going from my own experience. Whch includes many friends who have been diagnosed with "covid" and who have suffered illness far worse than flu. Some have been hospitalised, and ventilated, several are still suffering many months later, and some haven't survived. I also know a (very) few who have had adverse reactions to a vaccine, but still choose to support it. And yet you insist that Covid doesn't exist, that it's "just flu" or " a cold". Frankly, that's an insult to my friends who have been ill in the last 2 years. Of recent experience 2 of us who had a booster jab had a significantly easier time than those who hadn't. 7 of us were infected and became ill in 2 days from exposure to 1 person. Masks, distancing, hand sanitising etc all work (again from my direct experience). What makes you think that our current govt is capable of conspiracy on this scale? They are planning stuff much more insidious, but it's out in the open, and going thro the legislative process right now. I'm old enough to remember family stories of times before we had an NHS. Of high infant mortaility, and diseases for which there is now a vaccine/cure being a death sentence, that were talked of in hushed tones. Of my mum's best friend being in a TB sanitorium for 2 years. My own best friend's big sister having a lifelong calliper on her leg, and narrowly avoiding dying of polio. Of the relief in the talk by my Granma (b 1889) and aunties that there was now a vaccination for such things, and for measles, smallpox and more. *Contemporary film ref for those of a geeky bent ;-) Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  22. I like it. Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  23. Two reports that were shared by Douglas Ross at FMQT. One UK report, the other from a Scottish virologist. The guidelines are a clusterpuck for employers and advice even from within the NHS and NHS Inform continually contradicts itself. Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  24. For their own reasons. Why even single them out? Why not just bask in the glory of a monumental result? Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
  25. Was enjoying your summation till that unnecessary dig at the end! "Mostly didn't bother" What a cheap shot Mr Superfan! Totally unnecessary and inaccurate. Sent from my HD1913 using Tapatalk
