Who's On First. Abbot and Costello Classic comedy. An abridged version was featured in their 1940 film debut, One Night In The Tropics. They also did a fuller version in their 1945 film The Naughty Nineties. You are correct... Referenced in Rainman by Tom Cruise.

Totally agree. I support a number of charities. One pissed me off and I cancelled my monthly donation. I was looking to redirect it A TV advert caught my attention and tugged at my heart. Just Β£2 a month to change lives. I checked the charity out at companies House... 6 directors getting over Β£100,000 a year! They didn't get my support. A local charity needs 50k a year to survive. Not one penny goes to fundraisers, directors or the likes. Another local charity pays two fundraising managers 50k a year.

With Siegrist joining Celtic, maybe a rematch could be on the cards? I know who my money would be on. ππ

How does that help anyone feel welcome? People come or not entirely for their own reasons. Nobody needs to justify the self and everyone should be made to feel welcome... Even if it is only for a cup final. In 2013 I bought 6 tickets and brought 4 neutrals to join us 2 ST holders. They were not glory hunters. They came along and supported Saints at my request. Many people attend games like that for nostalgic reasons. They are no less welcome. A large number of fans return from abroad for such an occasion. Hardly practical to watch a league match but wholly understandable for a special occasion. Rather than label them glory hunters, I'd simply welcome them to the fold.

I agree. It is an advantage to all narrow wisdom and narrow morals that their maxims have a plausible air; and, on a cursory view, appear equal to first principles. They are light and portable. They are as current as copper coin; and about as valuable. They serve equally the first capacities and the lowest; and they are, at least, as useful to the worst men as to the best. Of this stamp is the cant of not man, but measures; a sort of charm by which many people get loose from every honourable engagement. Edmund Burke He also said... Evil will, so good must. and... βThe only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.β -

100% agree. The biggest source of increased income for any business is referrals from existing customers! Keep them happy and the referrals come. Incremental improvements are sustainable and not as dependent on form, which we know only too well wavers! Small improvements should never be dismissed. Some people are just afraid to open their minds incase the surviving brain cell falls out! After all... If it was that easy, every other club would be doing it. Edited. If it was that easy, every other club our size would be doing it! π€π -

All good points. People staying away because the atmosphere is toxic perplexed me. On one level, I do understand... But if good people stay away, how will it ever get better? In fact, as we now see, it leads to the opposite with sectarian bile all around the stadium and stewards afraid to confront people blatantly breaking stadium rules. Next way to reduce the toxicity is to increase the number of home supporters and families. Yup... Any transitional period will be unpleasant... but it is better than giving in to it. -
I fully expected to see you in the news laughing in the faces of the grieving.

Survey not weighted at all. π―π€ Additional income from external sources or additional fans? No. Not an option. Let's have the existing support believe in Armageddon. That way, it was their choice. Totally as predicted. Survey? It's like Council consultation. I once wrote to our local authority to ask, in line with their policies, what consultation would take place... The reply... "We will consult once the decision has been made"! True story dat. π€π₯ -

πππππππ Oh the irony... You deem him "so knowledgeable about running A football club" for daring to be positive... Whilst you counter be showing your vast knowledge on every football club by repeatedly referring to them. You " know" what all other clubs do and do not try and you "know" the reasons why. Now who is the Moan? πππ― -
