We have had two of the three for some of the season. Thommo himself won't turn this around. We need a defence... tactics. .. and a manager that knows how to motivate and get the best out of his squad.

He was appointed to take us in "a new direction" and he is certainly doing that!!! Thing is... our pre-match warm up routine is EXACTLY the same as it has been for seasons... NOTHING has changed. The players are stale and demotivated. No tactics and no clue how to change it. Post-match interview was a case of back to training as usual... ie... more of the same. What will change when you keep doing the same things over and over? Bye Tommy!

I admire your positivity but have you ever tried telling someone with depression to cheer up? They simply cannot as their problems are too deep rooted. There has to be a change and treatment for the depression to be conquered. I reckon it is the same with our support and our general apathy. Positive talk is nice... but it ain't gonna treat the underlying illness.

Much as I love Goodie I totally agree. I can't believe this is being downplayed. Yes the wee forward was nipping at him... but that was a deliberate elbow that could have caused real harm. There was no need for it and it was intentional. Enough is enough. I fear a lengthy ban for this one.

Absolutely. I can't for the life of me understand why the club doesn't tap into the practical talents of the fanbase more regularly. Two of my biggest memories were painting the Love Street bogs in my school holidays for SAF and clearing snow off the pitch for Jim Clunie. Instead... we now have a club that seems happy as long as dwindling numbers bother to turn up and hospitality is half full or more. Engage the fans Saints. Harness their collective talents... and don't abuse them or take them for granted.

Just listened to McNamara interview. .. he told his players we would press high up the pitch but that we would open up after 60 minutes. Other managers know how to play us. Compensating for s lack of reliable defenders has caused us to be too predictable. I also seriously wonder about our fitness.

Not with a one-off event... but we should be working towards it. Yes.. i have seen it. I also happen to believe we could have it functional for less by appealing for practical support from within the Saints family. Optimism is no bad thing when mixed with a measure of realism.

Waste of money. Why not fundraise to kit out the wasted area in the main stand as a permanant fans meeting area and bar? That would also raise cash for the club ongoing.
