You'd only need to put rails in for it to be health and safety approved. The current concrete steps fall within the guidelines, so there's no worry there. I am a fan of putting it in the South Stand. It's a tighter stand - and by using away games as a precedent - people make more noise when they're squashed in together.

The club have made enquires about Riordan. We also have a Blackpool Striker on trial. They can only come in, if two players leave on loan. I've been told these two players will be Naismith and Reilly (Yes, Reilly - I was a bit pissed off about this too)

Safe Standing can be done very successfully, and isn't too expensive to do adapt the stadium. Germany should be the example that we follow - they have done it incredibly well over there. Only problem that I can see is the fact that although it's not too expensive, it will still cost money, and I don't think Gilmour would go for anything that would potentially put us in debt.

We have given McGowan a ridiculous deal, along with Grainger and Harkins. Still - I can't quite understand where the money has gone, but this is what I was told, and I have no reason to doubt the person who told me.

I very highly doubt that considering the club were struggling to pay to bring in the loan signings. From what I hear - the club only originally offered to pay £500 of Newton's wage.

Watched the highlights from yesterday, and to be honest, we were unlucky. Played very well in the first half - although we look very weak down the wings. Second half - Penalty was a joke. There was no way vanzy could of got out the way of it. Second goal was one massive f**k up - not keen on Grainger atm - he doesn't look interested at all. Can't blame Cornell, he should've never been put in that position in the first place. Third goal was slack defending - Cheesey should've got there. If we hadn't lost the first goal - which appeared to demoralise the team - I think we would've been on for at least a point. We need some sort of bounce-back-ability. Everyone's head seemed to drop after the first goal. Ach well, in the past - need to move on and prepare for the next game. Onwards, and hopefully upwards!

Our highest finish under Lennon was when we had a experienced spine to the team. : Samson - Mair - Goodwin - Thompson. Not hard to see Danny!

This has all stemmed from releasing players and not bringing in suitable cover. We lost 3 strikers at the end of last season, and haven't replaced any of them. Reilly is talented, but we can't rely on someone so inexperienced. Thompson looks lost, and we can't expect him to play 90 minutes every week - he doesn't have that in him. We look weak down the left side of midfield - McGinn - another talented player - is never a left mid in a million years. Maybe McLean will be a better fit left side, but still, it's a gamble. Vanzy is slower than a week in jail, and needs to be replaced. And we need someone to command the back four - not Goodwin - we're missing his grit in the middle now that Newton has moved on. Mystified why McGregor didn't start. Having two inexperienced GK's isn't helping problems either tbh. What really worries me though is that Lennon had the whole of preseason to sort this out, and he didn't - and now we are all expecting him to sort it out within 2 weeks? Bit ambitious tbh!

As a Spurs fan - Is he f**k worth 85m! But hey, If Real want to pay that price - well let them....

Cheesey was excellent last season, and is on a lot higher than 2k a week - which he fully deserves. The lad gives 100% each game, and you can't ask more than that.

I've seen that too - watched it in school as a safety thing when going to concerts. The guy who filmed it was charged with manslaughter ( or something similar) for filming the people dying instead of helping them.
