  1. I agree with what you’re saying, but if it wasn’t for the bad luck we wouldn’t have any. I still think/hope our strikers find the net soon as I said before it’ll be a massive confidence booster. I must admit, I don’t like reading some of the comments regarding Obika and Junior. I’d bet that if either were playing for the OF then they’d be off the mark by now, purely due to the service they’d get.
  2. One home game in the remaining four of the first quarter which is against St Johnstone. Motherwell, Kilmarnock and also Celtic away, I fear our goal difference won’t be looking so healthy after those four games. I believe we can take something from both St Johnstone and Kilmarnock but Motherwell and Celtic are capable of hurting us. Where will our goals come from I’ve no idea.
  3. If you’re referring to Brexit then I’d have to disagree. They (Tories, Labour, Lib Dem’s et al) have had over three years to get it sorted. That’s not a sole responsibility of BJ. If the parties honoured the wishes of the 17.4 million instead of stalling at every opportunity then we’d probably be out the EU by now with a deal.
  4. This subject of a striking coach was brought up a few months back. Jason Scotland offered his services but the club didn’t get back to him.
  5. Skorlive and Hesgoals only showing the SEVCO v Aberdeen game. Anyone found another link?
  6. That wasn’t the question. Taking away the grammatical errors etc, could you tell me if anything his administration have taken credit for is beneficial to the American people? I guess there are individuals that will never give him any credit regardless of what he’s achieved just because they don’t like him as a person.
  7. Is there anything on that list that you’d say was an accomplishment?
  8. As I stated on my original response it’s from the US Government website. https://www.whitehouse.gov/trump-administration-accomplishments/
  9. The list I posted from the US Government website. I know there are a few polices that people don’t agree with, the border wall for example but that was one of his pledges during his election campaign. I believe it was also one of Obama’s but he didn’t go through with it. As for the Iranian nuclear deal that he pulled out of. I don’t know enough on that one but if as is widely claimed that Iran would have military grade weapon capabilities within a couple of years then I wouldn’t take that risk. I believe that with Iran and North Korea Trump has made threats of military strikes to bring them to the negotiating table. I don’t believe he actually wants a war with them.
  10. I guess we’ll find out when the American electorate vote next year.
  11. * Almost 4 million jobs created since election. * More Americans are now employed than ever recorded before in our history. * We have created more than 400,000 manufacturing jobs since my election. * Manufacturing jobs growing at the fastest rate in more than THREE DECADES. * Economic growth last quarter hit 4.2 percent. * New unemployment claims recently hit a 49-year low. * Median household income has hit highest level ever recorded. * African-American unemployment has recently achieved the lowest rate ever recorded. * Hispanic-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded. * Asian-American unemployment recently achieved the lowest rate ever recorded. * Women’s unemployment recently reached the lowest rate in 65 years. * Youth unemployment has recently hit the lowest rate in nearly half a century. * Lowest unemployment rate ever recorded for Americans without a high school diploma. * Under Trump Administration, veterans’ unemployment recently reached its lowest rate in nearly 20 years. * Almost 3.9 million Americans have been lifted off food stamps since the election. * The Pledge to America’s Workers has resulted in employers committing to train more than 4 million Americans. We are committed to VOCATIONAL education. * 95 percent of U.S. manufacturers are optimistic about the future—the highest ever. * Retail sales surged last month, up another 6 percent over last year. * Signed the biggest package of tax cuts and reforms in history. After tax cuts, over $300 billion poured back in to the U.S. in the first quarter alone. * As a result of our tax bill, small businesses will have the lowest top marginal tax rate in more than 80 years. * Opened ANWR and approved Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines. * Record number of regulations eliminated. * Enacted regulatory relief for community banks and credit unions. * Obamacare individual mandate penalty GONE. * Trump Administration is providing more affordable healthcare options for Americans through association health plans and short-term duration plans. * Last month, the FDA approved more affordable generic drugs than ever before in history. And thanks to our efforts, many drug companies are freezing or reversing planned price increases. * Trump reformed the Medicare program to stop hospitals from overcharging low-income seniors on their drugs—saving seniors hundreds of millions of dollars this year alone. * Signed Right-To-Try legislation. * Secured $6 billion in NEW funding to fight the opioid epidemic. * We have reduced high-dose opioid prescriptions by 16 percent during my first year in office. * Signed VA Choice Act and VA Accountability Act, expanded VA telehealth services, walk-in-clinics, and same-day urgent primary and mental health care. * Increased US coal exports by 60 percent; U.S. oil production recently reached all-time high. * United States is a net natural gas exporter for the first time since 1957. * Withdrew the United States from the job-killing Paris Climate Accord. * Cancelled the illegal, anti-coal, so-called Clean Power Plan. * Secured record $700 billion in military funding; $716 billion next year. * NATO allies are spending $69 billion more on defense since 2016. * Process has begun to make the Space Force the 6th branch of the Armed Forces. * Confirmed more circuit court judges than any other new administration. * Confirmed Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh. * Withdrew from the horrible, one-sided Iran Deal. * Moved U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. * Protecting Americans from terrorists with the Travel Ban, upheld by Supreme Court. * Issued Executive Order to keep open Guantanamo Bay. * Concluded a historic U.S.-Mexico Trade Deal to replace NAFTA. And negotiations with Canada are underway as we speak. * Reached a breakthrough agreement with the E.U. to increase U.S. exports. * Imposed tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum to protect our national security. * Imposed tariffs on China in response to China’s forced technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and their chronically abusive trade practices. * Net exports are on track to increase by $59 billion this year. * Improved vetting and screening for refugees, and switched focus to overseas resettlement. * Trump administration have begun BUILDING THE WALL. Republicans want STRONG BORDERS and NO CRIME. Democrats want OPEN BORDERS which equals MASSIVE CRIME. I’d say that’s not too bad. Above stats are from the US government site.
  12. Love him or loathe him, Trump has done very well for America since he was elected, no one can honestly say he hasn’t. His success has seen his ratings rise in the polls which I believe will see him win the next election. Would you (not meaning you personally) rather see a British PM have the same success but one that doesn’t give a feck about what people say about him, or someone that’ll tell the electorate what they want to hear to get into number 10, and then backtrack on the promises made? I know which I’d prefer. I don’t know enough about BJ to say if he can do the same for Britain as Trump has for the US.
  13. Slightly off topic, but. Did anyone else ever have one of the old metal roller skates (Woolies and Logan’s on Foxbar Road were I believe the purveyors of said antiques) and use an old Christmas annual as a seat and tear down the nearest pavement on a hill. Hollows crescent was like Brands Hatch during school holidays. Them were the days.
  14. Watched Boris in a couple of interviews, he doesn’t really come across as a confident, knowledgeable man. He’s obviously a clever individual but if he had the skills in front of camera as Farage does, I don’t believe he’d be in the pickle he’s in. If he joins forces with Farage at the GE, then I believe they’ll sweep the rest aside.
  15. Correct chap. I wasn’t suggesting he had £4 million in an offshore account, but his net worth including property value etc has been estimated at £4 million, meaning he’s far removed from the 99%.
  16. I’m assuming JC is in the 1% bracket as it’s alleged he has a net worth £4 million.
  17. Do you think they may come back as “The Thomas Cook”?
  18. Cheers chap, much appreciated. [emoji1303]
  19. Is that the same banking institutions that were bailed out by the then government using public funds around ten years ago?
  20. My daughter has just lost her job, she’s gutted. She’s been at the Silverburn branch for a few years now.
  21. Feck me. At 15 I thought getting the bus from Foxbar to Smith-hill Street was a big adventure, walking to Elderslie baths during the summer holidays was a major expedition. “Boys, what you want to do on Wednesday, a trip to the Magnum Centre, or a trip to a war zone thousands of miles away?” The likes of the BBC, ITV, Sky were full of stories regarding ISIS so I don’t believe all that pish about how they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into. If she was ever allowed back then she should spend her time in prison. Personally, she can stay where she is. As for the Royals, I don’t believe we need them but I’d rather be having a natter wae Harry and Meghan over the garden fence than any terrorist.
