  1. Andreu was been brought imo to provide 5-10 goals this season & similar number of assists. His better games at doing this were Easter Road & to an extent Pittodrie where the opposition gave us/him space to play. Pittodrie he really should have had at least a hat-trick but the performance outwith his terrible shooting was good. Tight games like last night's and (plenty similar games recently & to come) are not suited to his number 10 roll with at times up to 15/16 players in and around the box there isn't really any space for him to be effective, they require more balls out wide and early balls into the box.
  2. No we shouldn't. Yes Ricky a mixed family stand should never be a problem fans mix everywhere on route to and back from the match, why not the match itself???
  3. Like you, myself and others have mentioned if we even win 1 of these 3 matches we will be entering unchartered territory as we would then have won 2 from 2/3/4 matches which unfortunately we never seem to do.
  4. I would put "What A Season" at end of Championship winning season or "What a 2nd half of Season" the run from Ayr away in February to Hibs Away in April to avoid relegation. "What a season" to me suggests something great has happened this season has been like the other 6 from last 7, fighting relegation, poor performances, months without winning, being constantly frustrated with the team etc etc etc. I have mentioned this to you before this is the worst SPL season in years and years and has been a dreadful watch all season. Kilmarnock 3rd last 2 seasons bottom 6 in danger of relegation, 11 defeats in a row manager sacked. Hibs only 1 victory v St Mirren first 12 games, in danger of relegation manager sacked. Hearts 2 home wins all season in danger of relegation manager sacked. St Johnstone, regular top 6, in danger of relegation manager on verge of walking away. I could go on and on imo only Celtic and Livingston fans can be happy with their season everyone else??? Well you work it out.
  5. This was brought up in November some bright spark realised that Dec 24th v Livingston would be our last home Saturday 3pm before the split. It amazes me how after all these years quite alot of Saints fans do not realise that every single Rangers and Celtic away match is live on TV so when fixtures come out it isn't really difficult to figure out it will be moved.
  6. I have something positive for you. We haven't won 2 league games in a row (pre split) since Thommo was still playing. I reserve the right to be proved wrong from the B&W Army Stat Merchants.
  7. 3 of us sit in W7 and everyone thought it was a stonewall penalty.
  8. Poor Performance, Poor Crowd, Poor Set Piece Deliveries(5/6 different corner takers in one match???)Poor Penalty conceded again.
  9. Hibs Hearts St Mirren and Celtic both teams to score and win. 820/1 spent a big 50p on it.
  10. If Hearts & Rangers draw today their replay has to be played this week as Rangers in Europa action the following week. Scottish Cup Replays are normally the 2nd week after original match but it was also stated that our replay would be this midweek also, so it looks like this match will go ahead as scheduled.
  11. I remember reading somewhere at the time that whoever owns the name (Network Rail probably) wanted in excess of £100,000 to re-name the station to cover the cost of new signs, new timetables. I thought £100,000 seemed excessive at the time now if it was £10,000 it would be worth paying imo.
  12. I can explain very easily I posted that after he signed you accused me of doing that before he signed. Jakubiak has scored a career best 5 goals in one season as a centre forward I would say that is shit*. I was wondering when Munoz would throw his head back up, Obika was absolutely honking up until after the Aberdeen miss at home since then he has did what he is paid to do and score goals. Take a look at any St Mirren social media or listen to anyone at the matches most people are surprised at Obika's turnaround(apart from Munoz of course). Maybe Jakubiak will do the same and turn into the 2nd best Striker since Stephen Thompson seeing as Obika is the 1st.
  13. We have played Aberdeen 3 times this season they have been poor every time. We should have won 2 and drew 1 imo in those 3 matches. We were terrible against Motherwell twice earlier in season but then were much better last 3 matches will Aberdeen be similar and be much improved v us Saturday. You are right about one thing there should be goals there were 15 between the teams last quarter final matches. I've kept a holiday back for the replay after a boring 0-0 just in case.
  14. I remember it well went to every match that season but he played a weakened team in that quarter final and only changed it when The Good Doctor scored his goal. A treble would have been so much nicer than a double.
  15. Why would I berate a player that hasn't signed for St Mirren???
  16. Highlights Motherwell 1-2 St Mirren: Visitors stun Fir Park - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51423862
  17. That was his problem right up until the 2nd Aberdeen home game couldn't score the easy chances from 1on1's to 6 yard goals. Now we all expect him to score every game not sure what's changed but hopefully he keeps it going.
  18. Who did Goodwin prove wrong??? him and Thommo both said on Radio our first half performance was terrible as had most of our away games this season. A fantastic result with a good 2nd half performance diesnt really prove anyone wrong.
  19. Again our ridiculously bad away performances coming back to bite us. 1 win away all season is just embarrassing buts it's OK we were unbeaten in 10 apart from The Glasgow 2. Ross County even win away at Aberdeen while playing pretty poor we can't win away when we actually play quite well.
  20. St Mirren, Bayern Munich & Sunderland BTTS & Win. My original bet last Tuesday which I changed at last minute was Atletico, Dortmund & St Mirren (thank goodness I changed it) added in Plymouth, Portsmouth and Gillingham. Plymouth saved St Mirren from costing me hundreds.
  21. Will be postponed again if we draw the cup match.
  22. Maybe but our support is a similar size to around 10 other teams in Scotland where these teams always average around 4000-6000 no matter where we are in the Premier League or if top end of championship. To sell 6400 or even close to that might have happened if team was playing a little better imo. February has been a busy and expensive month for football and with match being on free TV I would expect people who's young kids normally go to games to stay in the warmth of their living rooms to watch the match.
