  1. Well he better get a move on if he wants to silence those critics. You told me earlier in the week he "could easily beat Thommo's best season of 16 goals", I gave you benefit of the doubt to see if he could beat that tally by just 1 (therefore not beating it easily just beating it). According to our friends on Wikipedia his best ever goalscoring season is 12 followed by 10 as his 2nd best. I look forward to Obika's best ever season saving us from the bottom 2.
  2. Another striker who doesn't score goals why is it never the sh**e players deals that fall through???
  3. Last 24 hours have been pretty crazy on here Paul Mcginn has become the worst full back in our history and Lee Hodson has become one of the best full backs/left midfielders in the UK. I must have missed this Lee Hodson playing for us previously.
  4. Totally agree. The reaction of Mcginn going to Hibs this week and the signing of Hodson today you would think we have signed Andy Robertson to replace the worst full back in our history. Another in a long list of strange decisions.
  5. Hopefully they end the same as the Dundee Utd fans last season kicked out before your team even score, cracked on the jaw on your way out.
  6. Munoz, I don't need BBC stats to see we didn't play to win that game. There were 7 of us at that game unsurprisingly we all were of the same opinion that we should have had a go. You and St Ricky really do have the blinkers on when it comes to Goodwin, Obika & the negative tactics.
  7. You do realise you back up my point with your response. "We could have stolen a draw" "I will be at Easter Road hoping for a point" Seeing as you like to mention league placings 12th placed Hearts defeated 2nd placed Rangers. Livingston defeated 1st placed Celtic. League positions are only a number, yesterday all Saints social media platforms were full of the league cup semi final v Celtic if we employed the same tactics 7 years ago as we do now we wouldnt have won that semi final.
  8. I have eyes & ears have saw it almost every away game this season and quite a few home games too & the manager has told us so in his post match interviews. Your not slow in telling every one your match routine so presume that doesn't make you too tired to watch the last 2 games to know exactly what I am talking about.
  9. Currently he has 7 goals in 24 games to "Easily beat Thommo" he would have to score another 10 goals in around 16 games. Not a f*****g chance that will happen.
  10. 3 of them are better than us according to the league table but having watched all of them I thought every one of them has been worse than us when we played them except County up there.
  11. They certainly don't have more balls when it comes to actually trying to win games. Just spent best part of £60 to watch us try not to lose against Hibs rather than just having a fu****g go.
  12. I have only missed 3 games this season and pretty sure my memory stands up to 6 months of matches. I said this yesterday on here and last week after Broxburn, every single chance Obika has had that you would call easy he has missed so getting a better supply won't necessarily improve his goal tally. On your previous post you mentioned he scored 2 v Broxburn he missed 3 unbelievably easy chances in the first half against them that imo most strikers would have scored. I would love to sit here and be proved wrong, i just want a striker that could convert the odd easy chance as if he had done that we certainly would have had a few more points on the board. If we continue like this there will be more 0-0 and potentially 1 goal defeats because our inability to take easy chances will kill us. Thommo said pretty much exactly this on Sportscene last night.
  13. The link Munoz just posted basically says Jack Ross contacted us but expected to be told to F Off when that didn't happen it's moved on to him probably signing for Hibs. Imo that would suggest Goodwin was happy to let him go not as Goodwin is hinting keeping an unhappy player, looks to me like this particular player was made unhappy by the club agreeing to transfer him in middle of the season where he has played nearly every match when fit.
  14. Another one in the long list of know it alls. We're you in the Hearts boardroom??? Are you Boyce's agent??? Boyce played for Ross County and Burton Albion not exactly footballing giants are they??? I'm comparing the guys wages or transfer fee I'm comparing his ability as in he has had one half chance and scored Obika has had roughly 10 really easy chances this season and scored not one of them. I said last week after Obika Broxburn horror misses that the tight games with one chance to win it will be the difference with 6 teams fighting to avoid relegation and just 1 week later Obika proved my point.
  15. They definitely having wasted it quite sure today was his 15th goal of the season double what Obika has. Also read somewhere online today that his goals to games ratio is the best of any striker currently playing in Scotland. Seems like money well spent to me.
  16. No I'm not suggesting anything like that my idea is by February I would have expected my main striker to have Scored some of the one on one/clear cut chances/sitters he has had up to then but to have not scored even 1 of these chances is embarrassing.
  17. I was asked by a Rangers season ticket holding mate before Wednesday if we had a chance of getting anything at Ibrox I told him no as our main striker cannot score easy chances. That is the story of Obika's season every single clear cut chance he has had he has missed. This won't only define his season but ours plenty people on here defended him last week after missing 3 sitters against Broxburn my answer to that was its not the scoring 2 out of 6 chances against a 6th tier team its the games where he gets one chance to win a tight game 1-0 and today proved that perfectly.
  18. To all the people who defend Obika week on week out despite him being horrendous in front of goal and now missed another sitter, give you Liam Boyce a guy who will save Hearts from Relegation, will outscore Obika despite playing half the matches he has played. The 6 team fight to avoid relegation could easily become a 5 very soon if Hearts continue as they did today. If we had a decent striker we would have been sitting here after beating Aberdeen 3 times this season.
  19. Having a debate at game my son thinks it was a difficult chance I thought the opposite.
  20. From the match it looked like an easy chance a few round us thought poor first touch too that's why he ended up on his right rather than his left foot??? Maybe someone with benefit of TV replays will confirm.
  21. It was a stonewall penalty although he has previous for diving this wasn't one of those occasions.
  22. Aberdeen are absolutely s***e they have been all season and we should be sitting here having won 2 out of 2 against them. If we don't beat them on Sunday it will be down to what we don't do as they are strictly a one trick pony long balls to Cosgrove all match long.
  23. Mcginn in for Durmus only change from Saturday, no Mcgrath on the bench unfortunately. Also got a bad feeling instead of Rangers usual penatly/penalties think we might get a red card tonight therefore weakening us for pumping Aberdeen again on Sunday.
  24. Terrible draw the only team to actually pump us this season and to rub salt into our wounds they pumped us twice.
