  1. Getting a ticket in exchange for work would be classed as a "benefit in kind" and therefore remove the person from the volunteer category so they would be entitled to minimum wage. You cannot volunteer normally to work for a ltd company only a charity or a statutory body IIRC
  2. Did this a while back with about 50 refugees from glasgow area who played football togther
  3. The role of SLO is defined by Uefa. And also has to do with Security meetings and not just fan rep. Needs someone always around and with lots of time. Google the uefa definition and see
  4. An SLO is a Uefa requirement as part of the Club Licence which you require to play in a European tie.
  5. The SLO at the Club was Brian Caldwell, i assume it is now Tony F
  6. Systems as far as I recall are just accessed from different points. Phil from beside the press area and police from the box.
  7. The Tannoy system was not designed for music etc only for police announcements etc. Even at that when I was on the board the Tannoy installers were dragged back in and spent considerable extra money getting it upto the police standards. To get it to "gig" quality from what I understood at the time this was a fortune. The tech may have advanced such that it is now much cheaper but what the Tannoy was specified for e.g being a Tannoy and not a HIFI it now does
  8. "Could" is the operable word. Walk up sales are normally always non identified to a named and recorded person. However where season or advanced booked tickets e.g away tickets that are supplied by the home club for the away club to sell names etc are normally recorded. But certainly making ticketing easier should be high on the new regime agenda. E.g a cash turnstile (exact money only) rather than everyone having to Q at ticket office
  9. Cash entry is not an issue. Unassigned seating could be
  10. The Club is not at risk if SMISA don't make payment. Only thing at risk is the speed or ability to buy more shares from Gordon. Gordon as majority shareholder in the meantime has to shoulder the bulk of the responsibility for running and financing the club should it be required. What i would like to know is as the money comes in monthly are shares bought from Gordon every month or in quarterly periods or is it a big bang at the end of 10 years. What is the shareholders agreement between GLS and SMISA?
  11. Very well done to all involved
  12. And just think how many HOF panels you would need for a prem winning team...win in 2019 panels buy 2029
  13. No reason at all why it could not now kick on to around the 2000 mark....but do not underestimate the work required to maintain that sort of level.
  14. IIRC about 1350...posted it ages ago will look it up again but not really relevant now that bid target is reached....onward and upwards
  15. Welcome to Football SMISA, same thing happened at least twice with 10000hours...important thing is to have a point man to answer any media and not to have to go round the committee doors preparing a rebuttal where one is needed...so far so good
  16. To be fair to Robert he will have talked to Consortium members IMHO to put this to bed. This bid such as it is was not plan B.There have been three enquires including smisa in recent times. Cannot see plan B raising their heads at all now unless GLS due diligence fails
  17. There is a shareholders agreement which also has Ken McG shares in it also
  18. It is not really that much more than fans bid...certainly not enough IMHO to make the consortium change direction. Remember a good proportion to that 300k buys GLS shares.
  19. I might not have done this right for posting the chart but now that the PR has really kicked in here is the graph that gets to 1000! Almost as many sign ups since Monday as in initial launch...that is the Bar lines the Bar line peaks follow various events. Rangers Game First Public Meeting Sign up of Ex Players and New Articles from Gordon Ex Player sign ups Second Meeting
  20. I think the other bidders now know that their Plan B is now Plan Z
  21. Looked good as it always did, and liked the jokes better as they were funny rather than just endless innuendo...it will get better, i would certain add Sabine to make her a third permanent presenter rather than a bit part....cant beat a Funny German
  22. I hope so, whereas you hoped not for the last FO bid...that is a difference also. I am also sure that a Bid will be made...we will see what is accepted as there is still no exclusivity agreement as i understand it, why SMISA and GLS has not paid the returnable fee i do not understand
