  1. He's still got a house in Ralston... Would be able to walk to work if... :
  2. As I called pre match, we lost something between 1 and 5-0. First 30 minutes brilliant, last 60 shite. Shrug and forget. Huge game Tuesday, HUGE.
  3. That all the bottom 6 losing now? Yeehaaaa!!! No more goals please!!
  4. 2-0 Good night Viennaaaaa Rest em up for Tuesday now.
  5. Probably best 45 minutes I've seen us play at Parkhead. Still not enough though, 1-0 down and we will almost certainly go on to lose. Bah, such is life. Focus on Tuesday.
  6. It's all about the St Mirren thusfar, what a tremendous start we've made. Still 0-0 though....
  7. Almost certainly going to lose anything between 1 and 5 nil, and it will be another of those 'shrug and forget' games, just like every visit to Parkhead has been during Danny's era. We have some vital games coming up though which I think we will get something from, with that in mind I'd go with a team like: Kello Newton Cheesy McGregor Kelly Teale Goodwin McLean Wylde Magennis Campbell (remember him?) Give Thommo, Gowser and McGinn a rest and have them fit and ready for the big game Tuesday night.
  8. Kenny's the kind of player I think would be actually better suited to a higher standard of football than the SPFL Premiership. He's a very graceful continental style midfielder, but he can be bullied out of the overly physical games we tend to get here. If he does go down to Ipswich it wouldn't surprise me if he thrives at that level.
  9. If that is the jet it's likely crashed because it ran out of fuel. Gradual decompression would be the obvious explanation.
  10. I laughed at that Meanwhile, back in the real world, the current UK government is doing a tremendous job. Osbourne is cutting hard but needs to cut a bit harder in my opinion, kill this deficit.
  11. Statistically speaking you're far more likely to die in a car crash than in an helicopter crash of course. However, car crash deaths aren't national news, whereas helicopter crash deaths are, and there's certainly been a few recently so this issue has been raised quite a bit. I've been up in them a few times for different and even had one 'flying lesson' bought for me as a present a couple years back, loved every minute of being in them. See far more in a chopper than you do in a plane.
  12. Alot of holes in the murder/suicide theory too. There's been a good few of them in the past, typical M/O is either you fly it into a building to or city which clearly hasn't happened here, or you close the flight deck door when your co-pilot/pilot leaves the cockpit, tip the nose and crash straight into the ground. That hasn't happened either. Why would they turn transponder off and change direction if it's a suicide? Why no calls to the ground like there was in 9/11? I'd recommend watching a documentary on Nat Geo at 7pm tonight, it's an hour long investigation into the Greek crash i referenced earlier. What happened in that tragedy was that a flight attendant managed to stay conscious as he got an oxygen tank. He got into the cockpit and was at the controls when the plane went down. He also tried to make radio may day calls but was unsuccessful as the planes radio had went down. Maybe one or both of the pilots or even a passenger or other crew member retained some degree of consciousness and continued to fly the plane erratically for a period of time. No explanation fully makes sense, but there's a good few educated people who think gradual decompression is the most likely at the moment.
  13. Read a theory that said gradual decompression maybe a plausible theory. It happened before on a Cypriot plane bound for Athens which crashed into a hill outside the city. Basically the planes air compression system fails, everyone on board then starts to feel drunk, then tired then lapse slowly into unconsciousness due to a lack of oxygen. It can also effect instruments on the plane. The plane could obviously continue to fly fine for a while but everyone on board is unconscious and it's obviously a matter of time before it goes down. It then could end up anywhere. Could have crashed into some remote mountain in Turkmenistan or into the Indian Ocean. Out of all the theories I've heard that seems the most realistic. Explains some of the weird things the crew did, they'd have been tired and disorientated and oxygen drunk, explains why the plane seems to have kept flying for so long and explains the lack of messages from passengers.
  14. Our big game is a week on Tuesday at home to St Johnstone, we really need to get something in that one. We will lose at Parkhead so I wouldn't be averse to giving some of our better players a rest so they're fit and fresh for the following midweek.
  15. It was only players who were in the cup final squad who were there.
  16. Jim's team triumphs in the quiz despite being robbed of two points. And no, we never used google 8)
  17. Load of shite. Makes me so glad that we won it in style instead of winning it like that. Makes it more glorious.
  18. Good turn out from the players and management. Danny and Tommy and 6 or 7 players. Tough draw as quiz team captain though...
  19. We did play well, first half was as good as we've played since Hibs away. Then Naismith got injured, the linesman made a mistake and the game got away from us. Still a lot of positives to be taken though.
  20. Lennon will be at the club until the end of the season regardless of what happens between now and then. As a fanbase, we need to accept that, move on, and stop wasting energy on asking for him to be removed before then. We have other more important things to worry about.
  21. I said at the time that I really didn't like the sub of Wylde for Naismith, and from that point on it was down hill rapidly. We were unlucky Jason got injured and we just don't have any defensive cover as Danny released half our defence in January without replacing them. Josh had a nightmare when he was moved to right back and was badly at fault for their second goal. But, before then I seen enough from us to make me believe we have what it takes to stay up. We will lose at Parkhead next week, but then we have 3 huge games before the split and 3 very winnable ones IMO. They are Saintees home, ICT away and Motherwell home.
  22. We lost by 1 goal at Tannadice. Take a deep breath and relax, it's no disaster. We still have enough. We will stay up, we will finish above 11th. You can take that to the bank, put it in my account, tell them Lex sent you.
  23. The key to today is to relax. No pressure on us, we will probably lose. But relax, relax and believe in yourself and believe in the club. We shouldn't make any changes from Saturday, we should go out there and give it our best shot.
  24. Who told you that? MJ said the hotel was an integral part of their business model.
