  1. Penalty incident outside the box, and possibly no contact. Its all Danny's fault.
  2. Yeah I read that as well. Good to hear of Danny and the club doing something behind the scenes.
  3. Wow. Just wow.Talk about hearing what you want to hear.
  4. Yeah hope Bahoken is back to fitness asap. I'd start Thompson on Wednesday night, hopefully we are in a position to sub him in the second half. Let Bahoken lead the line at Parkhead. And hopefully Thommo is back to his best for the cup game after 10 days rest.
  5. Can't afford to pass up the 4 chances we did today, especially when the team isn't quite clicking. Kello just ooozes confidence. Goodwin outstanding & MOTM. McGregor also very impressive.
  6. After all the abuse Danny has received in the past for making constant tinkering to the team, I can't understand why we would want a change in line up. Same team, same result (hopefully)
  7. Yeah Tynecastle for me and Stuart as well, so would selfishly like a postponement.
  8. There is a link over on the pie and bovril match thread
  9. Yes he was chased and chopped down from behind by Liam Craig, enraged at Jim for having the audacity to challenge a drop ball (necessary because a Hibs player was down, and we had the ball). Collum literally 5 yards away at most, and feels a chat is sufficient. Imagine if Jim chased someone down for 5-10 yards in anger and then just snapped them. Would he just get a talking to? The only thing that surprised me was that the SPFL highlights, didn't show Goodwin getting subbed. It's really getting beyond a joke.
  10. 3-0 down at half time, Hibs clearly got a rocket up their backsides from butcher. And they kept the ball much better. Despite this they had no shots of note to test Kello. They scored with a flashing header from a corner. Then I thought we knocked it about okay, soaked up their pressure without too much hassle. Then another set piece, booted into the box, Thommo loses his bearings and heads it straight to Collins to nod in a second. We did quite well in killing the game from open play, second half. Just slipped up at set plays.
  11. 2 sloppy set pieces made for a nervy ending. Apart from that, Hibs offered very little from open play. Shocking treatment of Goodwin today, if he had done what Craig did to him. Well...there would've been a public lynching. Not even a booking for Craig. Tremendous win.
  12. Many started paying him for Herbal-life and/or join his Metafit class!
  13. Yep a good servent, and cup winner to boot. At the age Mair is at, I assume he is looking for regular games. Something which Danny felt he wasn't going to get with us, so was willing to let him leave to play. Really don't see why everyone was up in arms about that. I assume he is on a decent wedge compared to others, so as long as we strengthen from his departure its a good move. Also, an SPL rival with Lee Mair as the experienced leader (as the Thistle fans hope) of their defence, hardly strikes fear into me. Good move for all concerned.
  14. Reading this thread is reason enough to actually go to the game!. More folk wanting to slate the usual suspects than hope we nick a winner. Ridiculous. Bahoken winner written in the stars!
  15. Personally I think Danny should get another contract, and the opportunity to continue to grow this young side. But that aside... ICT, the team many people want us to emulate certainly in terms of league performance, decided that John Hughes was the best person for the job. John Hughes! If that's the best that's out there for a top 6 side, then who is out there for us? I certainly wouldn't want to see Danny replaced with an unproven lower league manager. As IMO that just stalls the club and team back in its progression. I'd also disagree about waiting until the end of the season to make a decision. Many contracts in Scotland expire at the end of May, and letting Danny's contract run down until then. Before appointing a replacement or renewing the contract, would mean we potentially miss out on a number of players who are out of contract and set us back for the following season.
  16. If true, that would be a very impressive piece of business.
  17. Unless we are bringing players in promptly...I would also wonder what the board are thinking! We are already short of attacking options, and as pish as Harkins has been, he is at least an option. And with Teale still a month away...we will be beyond the bare bones. Fingers crossed for new faces shortly!
  18. Douglas McNeil ‏@DouglasMcNeil7m Gary Harkins has agreed to move on loan to Oldham. The move will be until the summer. Driving down at the moment. #StMirren
  19. Cheers guys...I'll try and read next time before typing.
  20. http://www.saintmirren.net/pages/?p=29581 Are these opening hours not a bit strange, with the games coming thick and fast? Completely shut on the 31st, 2nd and 3rd. Especially when tickets are more expensive when paying at the gate for Killie, and a home game on Sunday? Would've thought the office would be open for at least 10-12 tomorrow, if not 10-2 for Killie tickets, and the same on the 3rd for Celtic. Still accepting online orders as well. If bought tonight, what's the likelihood of them arriving on the 2nd in time for the match? Slim I'd guess.
  21. 5 points off the top 6...we right in the hunt providing we keep up decent form. Did we not take 13 pts from 18 just a month ago, and if we win on Thursday its 7 from 9. Progress? We are ticking along nicely. Yes today's result and performance wasn't ideal, but there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic for the second half of the season!
  22. Still in the Scottish Cup as well. That's your opinion...he stated facts. This is the best St Mirren have been for a generation. Thanks to Danny.
