Any knowledge of the Sevco statement tomorrow??

It's all academic now anyway....Sevco will release a statement tomorrow which says they will not play football in Scotland next season. Whether it's another admin I don't know but with 340 employes and no season ticket money (under 1000 sold) a black hole of £17M has occurred. Sevco need the season ticket money as much (if not more so) than we do. CG has tried hard to con the truth deniers but has failed. They don't even have a bank account to pay the money to Newco as there are new laws in place to prove where your money comes from etc. They are broke, found out and dead for next season.

I'm not having a pop Div but if the worst was to happen......"So Steven,Jim and Gary....You can go now and find another club ...If you stay we go into Admin....and wait for pence in the pound.

Has to be Dunfermline mate.......They have been cheated out of the SPL by the fact Sevco should not have been there in the first place...At the very least all games played by the former Ran*ers last season should be 3-0 defeats. Dunfermline have suffered the most from their cheating this season when the facts came out. All clubs have suffered in the past but the right thing to do will be to keep The Pars in the SPL next season.

Just a thought...As I have posted before the idea that at least "the gang of ten" are not talking to each other all through this "coming out " of individual clubs seems absurd to me.... Then I had a look at the clubs who have publicly said No and I think there is a pattern and a reason why and when they did so and also why we are not on the list. I think we can all agree the clubs are trying to manage the impact of a No vote against season ticket sales . Against this background some clubs are under pressure from the bank and had earlier been told (In a round about way to say yes). They NEED! this season ticket money NOW if they are going to continue without increasing their overdraft or loan facility. Dundee Utd are reported to be most affected by ST sales and therefore can quite rightly say to the bank..."We need to say No or they will not buy". I think they would already have had the assurance that other clubs would follow so they were not a sitting Duck....The Aberdeen one was interesting because their Denail about the No vote strikes me as one about timing rather than content...The banks final descision? St Mirren and Motherwell have had good season ticket sales but the key thing is here that other clubs I'm sure would understand we are in a takeover position and would give us a bit of leeway. Kilmarnock really are the most exposed club in the SPL and it might be best for them if they don't need to vote. Cel*ic are an obvious No but why give the Daily Record the headline of "Celt*c kill Ran*ers".

The questions are now out (1) How would you vote on Newco.?.....(No) (2) If your club was to lose money due to Ran*ers being out the league ..how would you vote?.....(No) (3) If this meant you lost all your best players.. how would you vote?....(No) (4) If the club could not support itself without Ran*ers and would need to go into admin...how would you vote?...(NO) (5) If the result of a no vote meant a plague of locusts decending on Paisley ...How would you vote?....(N0).".we will deal with them" Is there anyway you will say yes?.......(N0)

A better question might be .."We as a CiC which doesn't exist want YOU the fan to have a vote on a club that doesn't exist" ....Works for me lol...ps (100% CIC)

Blood presure back to normal today......This whole Ran*ers saga is now making my skin crawl... Correct me where I'm wrong here Div. St Mirren have a total income of £3.5M per year. We have a player budget of £1.5M. Now the contracts for our £2000 per week players such as Thompson, Teale and Goodwin have surely been written to terminate if the club is relegated. If we suffer from a £500,000 shortfall (which I have stated is pish) then even if these players have a right to stay if an offer was made to release them due to circumstances then they would accept if the alternative was administration. We could get our budjet down to £1M and survive.

I'm sure Div will understand my frusration in how this is being played out. He won't need you to reply to me and it's about time you grew a pair. There Is no option to say "well we are fcuked if we don't give Sevco special dispensation".....No special treatment !... Apply the rules like they have before because anything else will kill our game.

If 11 men walk onto the park in balck and white at St Mirren park then we have a football team..... If there are say 2000 fans to support them then we have a football club..... If McGowan, Thompson, McLean etc are not there we will understand why......It really is simple ...apply the rules which have been used before and we will pick up the pieces.
