Another outrageous dive to win a penalty last night. This guy is a serial offender, even David Moyes has acknowledged this in the past. Obviously once a cheat always a cheat, the guy just can't stop himself doing it.

Maybe a 6-month ban might act as encouragement.

I agree, some retrospective action should be taken.

Seen last nights hilarious fall, he obviously has no sense of shame or pride in himself as a footballer.

Either get him banned or he needs lessons in falling over.

Hmmm, well as that former sellic striker Andy Walker once so contentiously stated, 'if you feel contact you are entitled to go down' whistling.gif Anyway, whatever you think of Walker's interpretation, the view is that way you make the referree call it one way or another. Some call it cheating , some call it gamesmanship, some call it professionalism, or in Young's case, staged slo mo not very good professionalism.

Whatever, who cares, it's not leaving the game any time soon , later , never, ever. Just like feigning injury , or time wasting , going down cheaply, waving imaginary cards or intimidating officials , when is it cheating to gain your own side an advantage in a game ? Problem is you have folk in the game that will literally do anything for an advantage in a game. It's a mindset and is unquestionably in every side's preparation and training. This will never be eliminated from the game as the stakes are far too high. This kind of thing goes on in most games every week. Just because it's Ashley Young in a televised game , everyone's ire is up.

The hypocrisy around this simualtion thing in football is mind bending.
