He's only, slightly demeaning this TBH, 2 world titles at the age of 28. Time will tell. Get back to me in 30 years. Taylor was 35 when he won his first world title. I would get back to you in 30 years but I'm pretty sure I'm busy that night. Edited December 30, 2017 by Thorizaar

I would get back to you in 30 years but I'm pretty sure I'm busy that night. Taylor, born 1960, won his first BDO title in 1990, aged 30, and again in 1992, aged 32. Yes, he won his first PDC title in 1995, aged 35, then again in..................well, too many to type. As I said, MVG has time but theirs more to it than that. To maintain the standard over that amount of time is incredible and there's more players coming through, which doesn't detract from Taylor as you can only beat who's in front of you. PS Taylor has also lost 4 finals, no player, to date has come close t the records he has set. PPS Don't misunderstand me, MVG is quite phenomenal but to maintain a standard like Taylor over almost 30 years is, IMO, almost impossible. faraway saint
Fairy tale final tonight, Cross against Taylor. Cross, barely been playing pro darts against the legend Taylor, playing his last world championship. Bookies can hardly separate them, Cross evens, Taylor 5/6. Kicks off about 8:15 tonight. faraway saint
BDO Darts starts today on Channel 4 at 12:45 Might watch it, might not. Have to admit, the crowd are real darts supporters, not just there to dress up and wave at the TV cameras.

faraway saint
Glen Durrant 5/4 favourite, then it jumps to a 8/1 shot, indicating anybody could get to the final or win it.
faraway saint
Having done a bit of research (shutting my eyes and pointing at a list) a decent outsider could be Mark McGeeny, 20/1 Todays bet is McGeeney, Mandigers and Robson................no fecking idea who any of them are, exciting eh?
