This boy, when he gets in the groove, is a big scorer. Soots need to get to him, dent his confidence a wee bit.
faraway saint
Well beat, that boy, that's the 3rd game I've watched him, has the game to worry the big boys. Scores heavy and finishes well. Good luck to him.

Both have a decent chance of winning their quarter final.

Smith, started quite magnificently, wins fairly comfortably, albeit after a 5-1 lead was reduced to 5-3. When he's throwing well he's a heavy scorer. Next up, an all Scottish match, could go anyway IMO, overall I've a wee fancy for Anderson.
faraway saint
Wayne Mardle, the Murray walker of darts, talks utter shite on a regular basis. 🤡 Wright started superbly, 3-0 up, Anderson, not quite at his best, hanging in there. 3-2 to Wright. Mardle, questions Wrights choice of darts/flights. Wright has had 15 180's, 21 140's. What a fanny. Current score, 4-3 to Wright.

Souter wins 5-4, not the greatest match, he was 3-0 up and really should have seen it out to be an easy win but dropped his form and all of a sudden it was 4-4. BUT a 145 finish in the 9th game seen him win and set himself up for tonight's match against fellow Scot Peter Wright. What a finish. faraway saint
Souter first up tonight against a guy I'm not familiar with. Hard to tell, very hot and cold is Soots, can't afford to drop form, steady with his flashes of brilliance could do the job.

A couple of wee lapses but, overall, the best player, although Clayton was poor, apart from a wee spell in the last few legs. Anyhow, great performance, quarter finals and another big paycheck, get in the Arbroath ambassador. £25k guaranteed. faraway saint
It's time for the darts again. The Arbroath ambassador, Alan Souter, currently beating the worst player I've ever seen, bar me. C'mon Soots.
