faraway saint
Sincere hope Ferguson pulls through. Quite simply THE best football manager ever. Raised the profile of St Mirren, took Aberdeen to a position they will never achieve again. At Aberdeen he helped produce so many top class players, done that, and more, at Manchester while working under the shadow of Busby, no mean feat. Yes, a true great and, as Poz, indicated, crosses the nonsense between rival fans who recognise his amazing career. faraway saint
Just listening to a consultant neurologist and he paints a sorry picture. Out of 10 people 4 may die within a month, out of the remaining 6, 4 are disabled with 2 regaining independent function within the next year. Weren't aware of these figures, if anyone can be in the 20% it's Sir Alex. Best wishes. Sobering figures.
faraway saint
Just heard from a former work colleague who lives in Manchester, he's told me there are some horrible rumours flying about, won't repeat them on here. faraway saint
Seems Fergie's prospects are decent.....................fingers crossed. José Mourinho has stated that Manchester United are “very, very positive” that Sir Alex Ferguson will recover from a brain haemorrhage suffered on Saturday. The 76-year-old is in Salford hospital after an operation. Mourinho, asked how Ferguson was, said: “We are confident.”
