Millions of others manage to live very decent lives without resorting to crime. What's so special about Martindale that he deserves a second chance when perhaps his victims didn't get the same luxury? It's a very curious thing that we continue to fetishise criminals without a word for the victims other than perhaps the occasional cursory virtue-signalling platitude. Why is that? What are you suggesting, keep ALL criminals in jail for ever? Or are you differentiating between his crime and others? If so, what other crimes would you see fit to be either kept in jail or released? What would you do for the victims differently, and why are they victims? As for him, he's done his time and deserves a second chance. Agreed, on both counts, while appreciating that their are some people who have chosen to dabble with drugs and, as a result of this, have fcuked up their lives and their families. Mid Calder Saint
No denying people deserve a second chance but more importantly what concerns me is how Livingston remained a full time club plying there way through League 1 The Championship and then The Premier all the while barely selling 700/800 season tickets.People may drawn their own conclusions here. HSS
He should be kicked out and more importantly Livingston should be expelled from the Betfred Cup. All we need now is for a St Johnstone Director to be unveiled as a murderer in a previous life and the cup is ours. 🏆🏁
