  1. Ya Ya Arsehole was what I was thinking 1 minute into our Scottish Cup Semi Final.
  2. A team fighting for their survival against two already safe Dundee teams, an already relegated Livingston and US? These are the kind of results WE should have been expecting scrapping for jobs and league survival but we put in the most abject performances with McLeish at the helm.
  3. THIS HERE ...and I suspect you and I won't be the only ones. Just the 50 years here but it's so bloody obvious McLeish is not the man for the job. He set up the teams and the tactics and sent the players out for the critical period last season to secure their survival. They capitulated to 12th place Livi, 11th placed Killie who leap frogged them and 9th place Dundee without managing a single goal. Was over the moon we scraped through the play off and we did scrape through. Most neutrals thought Thistle the better side. I wouldn't agree, I thought they were poor allowing us to escape the drop. I can't bear to watch us throw that all away. I'd love to have the optimism of a surprise upturn but my head knows exactly what is about to happen under a clearly unready manager.
  4. FFS They were the 11th place team moving up to 10th
  5. Seems we've just booked ourselves in to the DIgnitas Clinic. Heaven help us. We may have consigned ourselves to years in the lower league wilderness with this utter stupidity after some of our best years. Why would you choose to self destruct like this? Unbelievable.
  6. Season ticket holders will have until 2pm (at the St Mirren Ticket Office) and midnight (online) on Wednesday 20th May to guarantee their seat ahead of general sale. Will this then open for general sale at midnight or will it be some time the next morning (Thursday) when someone doing ticket software can be arsed changing?
  7. How have we gone from 11-12,000 for a League Cup Semi to just over 6k for the more prestigious Scottish Cup Semi? If that figure of around ~6k is true then we just don't deserve a team in national cup semi finals and should we be fortunate to pull off another magic day those with purchase for this game should be absolutely first in line rather than 20 cup final tourists in May. Absolutely disgusted by that sales figure knowing the hoops (no pun intended) I've had to jump through to get hundreds of miles to this game.
  8. Noticed Duckens Nazon lines up as Haiti's main striker in their friendly v Iceland tonight. Average to disappointing player in a much poorer Saints side 7 years ago. Quite amazed he's going to a World Cup. Granted Isador at Sunderland is better but if Scotland don't win that game we should just pack up.
  9. Delighted that Kevin Clancy contributed with an assist for Saints when he inexplicably ignored McGregor's barge into the back of Keanu Baccus at the edge of the box. I was screaming blue murder it was such a clear foul in a really dangerous spot. HOWEVER the re-won and recycled ball ended up on big Ayunga's noggin so ...I'm not one for profanities but ...Get It Right Up Him if he was trying to save his team from defending a dangerous free kick, we'd probably done nothing from it. That's what you get matey!
  10. Season ticket holders should get first bash - agreed. But what's been proposed is hugely excessive. Since my season ticket holding father passed away in '22 I have to sort my own and do the 500 mile round trip as often as I can. 6-8 tickets would have been more than enough and 3 or 4 days up to Friday would have been more than enough time too. Must be hundreds like myself, not glory hunters turning up for 1 game but those who went home and away for 25 years but had to move away but even then make the journey home as often as they can.
  11. Those making that massive effort and expense in many cases have been royally shafted with season ticket holders able to doll out 20 tickets to those who never go to a game while they wait for November 20th to see what shite Hampden seats are left over. Those with previous purchases where they've travelled hundreds/thousands of miles spending a small fortune to back their team, all be it on a less regular basis but no less commitment, have been left high and dry.
  12. Still seeing nothing on Hampden App yet seems Sunday's game a day later is on there already? Ahhh now seeing a seat allocated so hopefully ticket QR code follows smoothy and row NN near back so happy not to be down low at the front.
  13. Bit disappointed in todays' over 7500 announcement to be honest. Means barely 500 ticket sales in last 10 days and we'll likely max out at around 8k. The ridiculous digital 'ticket' that isn't a ticket until you download a 2nd Hampden App probably not helping. Players getting rightfully really well backed by our loyal core but Paisley really doesn't deserve a team performing at the current level if they can't back them in a national semi final.
  14. Good to see ticket sites offering this game at a bargain £300
  15. Yup, Dunfermline it is who will be watching very closely LOL
