Bud the Baker
Not just in Scotland........................ http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/deep-fried-christmas-dinner-battered-11669910 A fish and chip shop is serving a deep-fried Christmas dinner with all the trimmings - including a 'gravy bomb' - that is packed with 1,100 caliories. For less than a tenner, the dinner includes a chicken leg, Brussels sprouts, carrots, a pig in a blanket, a stuffing ball and the 'gravy bomb' all covered in batter. The takeaway is able to deep fry gravy by freezing it as a cube and then wrapping it in mashed potato and bread crumbs. To top it all off the £9.95 meal-for-one comes with a deep-fried mince pie for pudding, Devon Live reports. The deep-fried Christmas dinner costs less than a tenner (Image: Devon Live) Andrew Marshall, owner of Marshall's Fish Bar in Cullompton, Devon, said the battered festive meal amounts to around 1,100 calories
