Ball Boy

Ball Boy (2/14)

  1. Norrie had a rare condition. Ligaments or muscle tissue, when damaged, (unfortunately for him this happened more often than to other players), would fission to the bone. This was why his injuries wouldn't heal and would often need more surgery. This was only found out for Norrie when he kicked the turf taking a free kick against Ayr utd in 94 I think. Too late for Norrie at that time. Such a shame. He was interviewed in black and white magazine and asked if he enjoyed his football career. He said no, he didn't due to his injuries and they way things went for him. Complete shame for such a talented football player.
  2. Wow! I managed to say nothing like the way you answered. Didn't think you would. Never mind, the better together misinformation wagon rolls on. Very emotional 'debate'. If you can describe a 'debate' in such a way as this lead up to the referendum question.
  3. Politicians, good or bad, have been egged or have had rotten veg. Thrown at them for years. Nothing is new here, nothing at all. The anti democracy element is available on both sides.
  4. What would happen if in, say, 2 years when Alex salmond may not be the first minister in an independant Scotland as the snp were voted out by an independant Scottish electorate and the new first minister decided to debate with NATO against sending Scottish troops to, say, Syria or Ukraine? Ifs, buts, maybes. All irrelevant to this septembers referendum.
  5. Very sad. No natter how famous you are, something's going to get you in the end. Motor neurone disease, altzheimers etc are just terrible illnesses to contemplate. Hope his family remember the good times. Real shame.
  6. Well, I for one am glad that no one blew that right out of proportion. It could gave made some right decent debating if anyone was to hang Malky mackay before any investigative reports were released.
  7. Hey, I've been to edinburgh zoo. I liked the ignoramus.
  8. This thread seems to be made now of Stuart Dickson versus his aliases. I can see Stuart now, shouting at the keyboard as he goes all gollum style then smeigel type 300 odd pages, the yes's are still yes's and the no's are still no's. Everyone is a lot angrier now than they were 100 pages ago proposals area til. Not being accepted by both sides. There also appears to be only one 'natsi' on here who is forcing his opinions on others constantly without considering other opinions, Stuart Dickson. Is it true, Stuart, when someone asks you your name you have to reiterate that it's "dick with a ck, you know, like a knob"
  9. Taxi driving can be insanely boring at times, I assume.
  10. Napoli Look for results of York City Sunderland arsenal. Passing interest in Leeds notts forest Sheffield Wednesday Chester City Peterborough Norwich.
  11. And a probable half truth as well. He probably overtook a car with a sticker.
  12. The no campaign have done very well to shift the full gaze of the average voter directly to 'currency' and 'national debt' to scaremonger the average voter into voting 'no'. These two points are fully negotiable in the possiblity of a 'yes' vote winning through. Concentration and study should be made on points instead like, the government stating ' there is no way back' if a yes vote comes to the fore, which in my opinion is a stupid a statement to make as any, the possibility of a 'yes' vote coming out on top then e majority of Scottish people voting for the uk to stay within the eu while the majority of English voters voting for the uk to come out of the eu would poo-poo half the governments arguments into scots voters ticking 'yes' next month. Trident and the possibility of its removal is high in the 'yes' casings agenda but how high is it with the agendas of the rest of the Scottish people and is it a reason to vote 'yes'. Will trident remaining in Scotland be a bargaining tool for any future Scottish government to gain favour with the possible future English government to change sea boundaries or divide up future oil profits for the good of the British isles and not just Scotland? Also in the event of a 'no' vote will David Cameron withdraw power form the Scottish parliment, take more of our tax money to pay for London transport and economy. Will the threat of removing shipbuilding jobs from babocks in the event of a 'no' win stand or will a newly independent Scotland with the pound in place prove good value to still have babcocks in place to build ships like it has done successfully in various guises for years? Can the conservative government and whoever wins the next election be trusted enough to keep promises they are making just now to Scotland and her people that in the event of a 'no' vote everything will be all right and the future will be all nice and rosy.
  13. 1.9 vw diesel doesn't have one, as far as I'm aware. Newer engines only I think.
  14. You will be doing journeys so you prob won't need it removed. I, personally wouldn't recommend it but it can be done and people obviously do it. I think it means an engine tune as well so an emissions check will be done on removal, but I don't think it'll be cheap to do that.
  15. Regen approx £70 . May be better getting oil and filter changed at same time. Mazda takes low ash dexelia oil so £180 or so for both. You'll know mazdas are good but a bit heavy on petrol. Diesel engines a bit better on fuel economy. 1.9 vw audi group engine is a good 'in. Cars spot on, too. 2 year warranty with main audi parts (not accessories or wear/tear though) so paying extra for an audi is worth it IMO. Octavia is a good workhorse, though. Vw audi do a lovely plum colour :-)
